| The literal hype train. I expected the second season but not the movie. Still after catching up with the manga, I image that the next arc is the best arc that can be turned into the movie. It's length is perfect and then there is there will be great movie finale to end it. This is probably the last chance that they had to make a proper move out of the cannon story as well. The arcs coming after this are little too long to properly adapt into a single movie. Personally though, I would simply prefer the next season. Now the question is, how long will this take. This decision to make a movie seems rather recent being a response to the popularity that the anime managed to get. This would mean that they have little to no preparation for it what so ever and that they started making it just recently. So yea... I wish everyone good luck and patience to stay anime only. |
As4shi said: I'm guessing this will be released by the end of 2020 (or in the middle), probably with a new season coming somewhere around 2021. Since this is a short arc this fits just perfectly for ufotable to get more income and bring the hype back up after the movie release, since it will go down a bit now that the anime ended. Tbh i was thinking they would somehow put this arc in the last few episodes, i'm glad to be wrong, it would be cut down by 50%~70% if they tried to fit it. That's gonna be a problem, if the movie airs at the end of 2020, it will take at least a year for it to come out properly subbed. So the second season might air first before the movie is available to watch by us. |

| I would've loved this to be part of the second season but if it'll provide them with more publicity and funds for the second season then I'm on board. I think this will be their "break" before announcing a season second. I think they might even announce the second season at the end of the movie. |

| Should be decent. I'm looking forward more to the RLD and Swordsmith Arcs personally, so hope they're given the full adaptation treatment after the movie's been released. With the movie being released, it's unlikely there'll be a S2 next year. Probably 2021 at the earliest. |

| Yeah, Kyoujurou is certainly one of those people who wouldn't notice if their hair was literally on fire. Surprisingly, I haven't even seen much of him, but I feel like he's going to be a likeable guy. Apart from that, I hope it comes out in a cinema over here, 'cause the sound and animation with that kind of equipment should be fun. |

| After watching episode 26 and seeing how infinity fortress animated by ufotable i even more hyped for dimension infinity fortress arc to get adapted. And if you an anime-only then yes that arc will take place in that fortress where muzan dismantling the lowermoons. Watching the pillars doing an all out war againts uppermoons in that place would be very satisfying.  |
