I said I didn't watch past season 2 tho I'd say it's generally better than S1

Yeah I don't have a definitive answer at this time outside of Chihayafuru 3, Blade of the Immortal OVA, SAO 4 when I get to the SAO rewatch (so I can watch past S2), and maybe Beastars.

Sadly the club's kinda...dead again, but yea, hope to see you there.

I only really write reviews for shows where I feel compelled to write about them when or after watching. I've scrapped a few potential reviews cuz I wasn't compelled to write for them like I thought I'd be (that or I straight up dropped Bunny Girl). Unless I'm choosing which seasonals I wanna write, it just comes to me, and again, with some seasonals, I end up still never finding the urge to review it.

-Always make sure to go over your writing a few times to see if there are any spelling or punctuation mishaps or if a sentence doesn't sound right. I suggest getting a proofreading app or perhaps finding someone who is willing to look over your work with you just to make some of that process easier (or both but all of this is up to you and your preferences). You don't want a bunch of formatting or spelling issues littered across your reviews (including stuff like paragraphs having no spaces between them). Note that none of these are infallible, though.
-Make an attempt to have your ideas flow into each other. Sentence flow is important, and it's always good if you can have your paragraphs segue into one another as well.
-Word choice is important. You don't have to spend too much time picking apart every word, but if it feels like there's a word that doesn't quite convey something the way you want to, keep thinking or even pull out a thesaurus until you find something. You don't need to go ham on purple prose or anything, but everything should feel intentional in your review.
-Even if you're gonna be harsh on an anime, studio, or staff member, never fly off the rails to the point of flailing around, let alone of trying to actively condemn anyone (especially the readers). Never actively try to be inflammatory, even when making a point or getting on a soapbox. Be fair to everyone involved, and that includes the anime, even if you dunk on it heavily and give it a 1/10 or something.
-If your review ultimately resembles the whole 5 categories MAL wants people to score, keep it invisible. It makes for a nicer read when you don't have BIG LETTERS: SCORE/SCORE tacked on each paragraph or few. Let the paragraphs, the writing, direct where you and the readers go.
-Just find something you have the urge to review. If you're actively drawing blanks or getting burnt out, that means you either need to take a break and come back to it later, or you should scrap it. Rarely does it just mean that you know what you want to say but not how to say it (and even in the latter's case, you really have to choose between sitting there to keep tinkering, and taking a break to cool off.)

I hope you find some of these helpful. Oh, and thanks for reading my stuff, and I'm glad that you enjoy them. Here's to more in the future.

You're welcome.

Hello! You're welcome!

I guess. And I should finish some of them sometime. :)

I'm rewatching Sansha Sanyou at the moment, it's a nice SoL. How Heavy Are The Dumbbells You Lift?, Gotoubun no Hanayome, Harukana Receive to name some newer ones.
