I guess they have just problems with production, so they put together recap episode to delay next one of week. Is it like that or do they released it simultaneously? I doubt it. |

| Any anime that does a recap 6 - 12 episodes in is almost invariably a garbage ass anime that is stalling for time. They're not recapping because it's necessary but because they needed more time or simply just did not want to / could not deliver. |

| The only reason for producers to make a recap episode for a short show, is because of trouble with animating the rest. I've read somewhere that the budget wasn't very high for the show (just looking at the terrible CGI animation also confirms that), so the animators are probably taking an extra week to sort out some problems for the rest of the show. |

| Do perople really think recaps are there to remind people what happened? It's just a way for studio to stall for time when they can't keep up with production. But I do admit I'm disappointed. Watching this anime might be simple pleasure, but it's a pleasure. |

| Nobody needed this. I don't understand the need for recap episodes as filler. It is more work to create the filler, and that time could have been used to make their next episodes better. I have less of an issue with just not getting an episode than getting a recap. No episode tells me they care about their art. A filler tells me they needed to appease a suit. This series was already poorly adapted as it is. We did not need this. |

They've done this in the past with varying degrees of success, but if you have to air something you might as well air the first episode to capture a potentially new audience. There is literally nothing to be gained from a recap episode in this situation. It's not like they have nothing to air. |

The only time we need a recap is between seasons when there has been months or years, in this case the lazy fuckers just couldn't make the episode on time, which is fucking incredible given the horrible quality of the animation, literally the only thing that looks good in the whole series is yues eyes |

| Short answer no we do not, it has only been 5 episodes. Should have seen it coming though, the next episode is the one I've been waiting for since he got trapped and started to level up / strengthen himself (whichever way you prefer to say it.) Figures they make me (us) wait another week. |
