change from A1 pictures to studio Deen, hm. Maybe for the best. Either way, I'm excited to finally get my final thoughts on the series, as the second season was a mixed bag for me. I loved parts of it, but other parts were kind of terrible.

The manga has become utter crap in the last arc so I cannot say I care all that much but I guess I will watch only for completion's sake while hoping that Studio Deen will do a better job. A1's adaptations just felt too lifeless to me.

He didn't work in S2 with the exception of 2 osts he left pre made and now he has AoT S3P2 and Kabaneri to work with. I think he's just there for publicity.

You do realize the reason why Shouwa turned out well was because the person behind the product was an ex-shaft staff member right?

By comparison, let's say... KonoSuba and Shouwa, both who have directors that have some track record, the staff for this one doesn't have a whole lot behind to have some form of judgement. Though inherently staffs that haven't worked much isn't really an issue, it just makes it harder to really get the idea of the quality of the series.

I mean, that does make sense if you think about it. There's also the fact that there's not a single new anime being produced by A-1 Pictures for this Spring season. They're most likely focusing all their resources for Alicization Part 2.
