| I, for one, really love the art that was posted with the announcement! I've heard the idea tossed around on reddit that it was commissioned by a fan artist, so who know if it is representative of the actual show's artstyle. I'm not a fan of how the 1995 film's and SAC's artstyle, with the boring grey color palette and the way the characters were drawn. On a related note, I think the hate at 3D CG is misaimed, and people are too quick to assume that it will be bad. We've had over two decades of fantastic 3D animated shows and films. Just because Japan's anime-esque 3D CG endeavors have looked subpar doesn't mean that they will continue to be. We haven't even seen a teaser trailer yet. I'm not going to judge until we actually see footage. |
