Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler -
| More Kakegurui… The poster makes this new season look surprisingly pleasant, maybe the second season will be a harem rom-com… But really, I hope it will bring something new to the table because the ‘gambling’ got stale after I realized there were no stakes. I wonder how they'll start it from the anime original ending. MAPPA must not have much going on if they're making a second season so soon after the first. They sure took a lot on their plate last year, but even so Kakegurui turned out looking pretty good. I didn’t love the first season so I’m hoping this new one will be a bit more thrilling to watch. Either way, I’m down for another season. |

| I have been wanting this sense it finished airing finally. for me the only way to make this better then the first season is two have Yumeko and Kirari have a legit gamble with each other |

Not_Important said: It looks like they're going for a original story because there's not enough material from the manga to make a second season, and after the fiasco that was SnB Virgin Soul I don't trust Mappa when it comes to writing a good story, so my expectations are real low for this. they can work on the anime at the same time as new chapters are released. An original script is not a good choice after that rushed ending. I also hope that there will be a new director for the season. |
Not_Important said: The problem is that Kakegurui is a monthly manga and the new Arc is progressing real slow, so there's no way they can work on the anime at the same time new chapters are released or we would get this second season only next year or even after it,but it's coming out this year but the looks of it. they need at least ~12 more chapters to make 12 episodes, so yeah, it will take about 1-2 years. Perhaps... i don't know much about anime production xD |

It'd be a real waste of potential. |

| Hm, it'll probably be an original story based on the ending. Didn't really like the ending of the first season much, but I'll see how this'll go. I still enjoyed the first season overall. Quite excited for this and the Youjo Senki movie. :) |

| i'm not sure what else they would be able to do in season 2 without getting old. if they go down the rom-com harem route then i'm def gonna drop it. i somewhat enjoyed s1 because of the gambling but it's wasn't amazing |

| I believe that 1st season was great! Characters kept me engaged and kept the suspense rolling. It had me on the edge of my chair lol I really liked it. Im a little skeptical of season 2 bcuz I don't know how that's going to turn out just by looking at the pic |
