Well I think it is already hinted the Anime version will having a filler story more than follow the manga since the poster was revealed, with this cast list it was proved even more that it was a filler story. If there are really follow the manga one, it has a lot of different/problems: 1. Makie never appear in UQ Holder (Or just make a cameo appearance in the flashbacks), and yet the anime was showed her in the poster and listed her in the cast list. 2. It is too early to put Sayo, Nodoka, Yue and the other Negima characters in the cast list since they're appears in much later, if they're adapted the whole manga then where is Ikku, Santa and Cutlass' VA? Or maybe they just hided it until the trailer reveal but still 3. UQ Holder anime adaption maybe will just having 12 episodes or at least 24 episodes, but why did most of the returning Negima characters was listed in the cast list? Mostly it will just able to adapted the Fate arc or at least Sayoko arc into anime, so the Mana and the other returning Negima characters won't appears and should not being listed in the cast. Unless they skipped most of the part and jump to the current arc. |

Looking at the cast and the poster especially. That's a sad news really. Negima fully deserved a proper adaptation, far more than tons of shounen battle out there. Instead it got 2 series and none of the two was a proper adaptation, and now its sequel is following the same path? That plain sucks. |

I know it's still June and I guess there'll be more info about the anime adpation until then, but I'm fearing the worst... |
