| to put your mind at ease, imaishi and crew left to make trigger and they were the geniuses behind p&g. gainax do own the rights to the series, but it's unlikely they could, even if they would, ever make another season on that level. as for trigger doing it, it's impossible. gainax will never let go of the rights unless they go bankrupt maybe. thi and the end |

| Gainax is pretty much dead for around half a decade now and they didn't really do anything worth mentioning since Panty and Stockings. One failed show every one or two years. With Imaishi Trigger is the new Gainax. |
