| It seems as though more and more Re:zero fanboys have realized that this show is not what they wanted. Somewhere along the way, this show may have taken a direction that made little sense or got too formulaic to the point that you became disinterested. | Honestly it just feels like Subaru isn't growing all that much. He constantly makes dumb mistakes that he should have realized will mess him up in the end. He doesn't realize that most of his "love" for Emilia is there because first girl he met. Subaru is not a great character and this has only become more apparent as the series kept going. |

| Time Reset and Respawning the MC a lot proves why this anime is garbage. Respawn is acceptable if the concept of anime is video game while Re:Zero is not. |

However, this is the second arc. Up until the mid of arc 3 (which is currently on-going), the whole thing is pretty much like a prologue. Lots of exploration of world setting coming soon. |

| Not like my post is going to save this thread. My biggest peeve is the pacing and the devotion to the almost pointless faffing. At first it was the meta talk and annoying observations of the MC, now it's the painfully familiar formula this show has utilized in between progressing the story. Granted it's necessary for the most part but many times I'm stuck wondering if there were some way for a more focused story. It just feels like filler in some of the episodes and the only part that feels significant is the first and last two minutes of each episode, combined with 45 seconds throughout the episode. Otherwise it feels like pandering, narm, and it trying too hard. |
