| This would have been one interesting love story and one that had made sense if Subaru had accepted her because she accepts his true self and in this episode she actually saves him. Subaru needed to be acknowledged for everything he has done for all the characters in the show, because i think the lack of it was the reason why he acted the way he did in all these last episodes, but no one knew... until this girl finally tells him how he affected her and all of them. But this Suburu is just what he is... i guess |

Guys.... we get it, Rem is best girl/waifu/demon/maid of all time, wait, of all anime characters forever, Emilia's got nothin on her, literally nothing, Emilia's trash who has no development and a minor supporting character, Rem is the main heroine and she'll have Subaru's babies in the future. Now can we just change topic, I wanna read people's opinions and thoughts about Subaru's development and theories of what may happen from here on out, sorry if this sounded a lil bit rude to anyone, Im just tired of all this best girl waifu BS over and over with each ep thread. |

Whenever a show is still airing, I'm always ready to revise my opinions as things change. Depending on how this season finishes, I think Subaru's "garbage arc" (Arc 3) will be one of the most important parts of the show, where we get to see him fall before rising again in fantastic fashion. I'm looking forward to what comes next, because they totally delivered on exactly what I'd been hoping for from the past 3-5 episodes. It's really exciting :) |
| Wow, the episode was dominated by just one conversation/therapy session, but I was completely hooked. How much more lovable will Rem become? It wasn't easy to watch her smiling through the blunt rejection. So this is where Subaru gets his shit together and starts actually making the correct choices, right? ..Right? |
| God damn....I swear this endless loops and tryin to breakthrough it again and again totally got me... I never liked bad ended stories and this damn boy keeps pushin bad ends and tryin to turn them into good continues.. This story has really touched my weak spot and kinda race for the favorites of mine.. |

| I was furious at Subaru for a couple of seconds until it dawned on me that he was being honest and that's a big part of becoming a better person. I also liked how it acknowledged that his previous character-personality as a NEET carried over into this world, despite the change in circumstances. He has to change himself in order to evade this Sysyphus cycle he's been on. Hopefully this really is a new start for him. Rem, what a great girl. Kudos to her. |

| Good Lord! Am I the only one who's for once happy that this was probably the first episode where Subaru finally made some progress by finally coming to his senses?? Coming to terms with how retarded he's been this far is the only way he's going to make any progress. And honestly, he did the right thing by staying true to his feelings! Yeah, poor Rem but feelings don't just change like that. |

Everyone lost his mind over a ship in a non-romance anime while forgetting the plot ... that's not cool people appreciate the characters and accept them .. bashing emilia and saying she's trash won't change a thing.. subaru had been saying he loves emilia since ep6 and as we see he's not the type to give it up easily ..why is even anyone surprised :\ ? i mean we all love rem and are sad for her .. but it's not that much of thing to be angry about .. subaru doesn't deserve all that hate |

| Now then lets discuss this episode lol After last weeks strong episode and dark cliffhanger i was anxious to see what happens next and boy i was not disappointed. First of all Puck is just awesome even the giant version of him His quote about talking to a spirit about the concept of time was right on. The confession that Subaru made to Rem about wanting to leave was actually pretty sweet as was Rem's response to that. Rems thoughts about the future was actually pretty nice and part of me wished that will happen if they had simply left the capital. The confession of Rem was beautifully done and i can't praise Inori Minase enough as she is portraying Rem beautifully and perfectly. Everything about the confession scene was excellently done and i can see that they had put a lot of effort into it to which im thankful. Another thing about this episode that i liked was that Subaru finally admitted to all the flaws that he has and all the promises that he keeps breaking but rather being negative this i felt was a positive thing as it will enable you to know what you need to do to change that and as Rem said we all start from zero. In the end im glad that Subaru didn't forget about Emilia as though Rem is still as lovable, cute and pretty as Emilia she is not the primary heroine and Emilia has helped Subaru just as much times as well. Though i love Rem as a character i still want Subaru to be with Emilia who he has loved since the first time he met her. Anyway this was a fantastic episode and i loved the confessions and the fact that Subaru has finally recovered. Now then lets go save Emilia and Ram from their destiny |

| It was an ok build up episode, with a little character development, but nothing we haven't seen, nor nothing new that the characters themselves haven't said. The dialogue between Subaru and Rem could've been cut in half and make more progression for the story than having us watch something we, the audience already knew, as well as the characters themselves already knew. It was ok that Subaru admitted that he made mistakes for the past couple of days and that he needs to change that attitude, but it was unnecessarily prolonged and other important bits could've been introduced, i.e., Betelgeuses' backstory, tho it's nothing special, but still, they could've shown why he's the way it is, even tho I critiqued his character in a previous discussion and I still think it's a bad villain, but it would've suffice to move forward or learn something new. However, we did learn something about the spirits and a possible connection between Emilia and Satella, stemming from the fact that Emilia first introduced herself as Satella, the Witch of Envy and then Puck saying that if she were to die [Emilia], Puck is going to destroy the world, which gives a resemblance to the Witch itself. However, one thing is puzzling me, or perhaps it's a plothole that was overlooked, but why didn't Puck start a blizzard when Subaru found Emilia dead in the tavern in the first episodes? Or I am mixing up characters and she never died alone? |

Doesn't matter if you were expecting otherwise. There's no rule for this. You're just too used to short stories, like many. This story would've turned into SAO if the author were to listen to unreasonable demands from the fans. This is what I heard happened there. And in the interest of being fair. You having no problem with not seeing more of Emillia is subjective, not objective. |
