| Wow.Whatever I expected , it wasn't this.Deconstruction takes a new level. That was really powerful.The most emotional episode of re:zero so far.. I liked that he still likes Emilia,it was what drove him from the start , her kindness and compassion. But if Subaru is going to start from zero , you'll never know if his feelings for Rem would change or not.We all know now that he's closer to Rem more than ever. The opening scene was also solid...Betelgeuse was awesome ... Puck was awesome ... I'm going to watch this again, how we're gonna hold up 'till next week is beyond me. |

| We all knew Rem loved Subaru. I was not shocked to hear that Rem had already thought about running away. But when she detailed her entire life plan with Subaru my mind instantly exploded. She had displayed her devotion to Subaru countless times but this is on a completely different level. You can't even be mad and Rem fans for being salty that she got rejected. As for the ending "From Zero" has such a strong meaning. He was only able to start again from zero due to the actions he took and connections he made during his haphazard approach to this new life. Really excited to see what the fresh out the shop Subaru can accomplish, because obviously we can't reset here. |

| Idk I'm not a fan of characters just stating their flaws like they're reading a shopping list only to be comforted by the support character. It was boring in ReLife but a bit more impactful here. Still it feels like lazy writing since the author is just telling instead of showing. Don't get it twisted, we've already seen how desperate and powerless Subaru really is so a whole episode of dialogue confirming that seems redundant. This episode was a bit disappointing but I guess that's my fault since I set expectations way high after people hyped it up so much. |

And just because he's the main character doesn't mean help or strength will magically come to him. He has to work and persevere to accomplish goals which in other series with OP MC's would be easy tasks. It's nice that this series is showing that despite it being another world, it's still real life. If you didn't do anything in your previous world, you probably won't be able to do anything in a new one either. The only choice is to change, and changing isn't easy. You have to go through a lot to finally learn something and change yourself, which is the most important thing Subaru needs to do right now. And this episode forced him to take a big step forwards. i love the way you think bro :D .. Thanks man, it's good to vent these things since the rest of the week is like, "Is it Sunday yet? Is it Sunday yet?! WHY THE FUCK ISN'T IT SUNDAY YET?!" |

| I was like ok runaway makes sense... ok rem's fantasy this is a little cringey ... a minute later...Ok pep talk/denying the pep..... Rem snaps into Super Motivational I'm getting the feels... a minute later I'm like wow ... then I'm like I've had to turn someone down before... Props to you Subaru, it sucks and it's weird.... Wait what the hell You've got balls asking her to help you... Wait a hero speech now.. like overall even if the Despair felt like it went on slightly too long and the cringe too... it set up everything perfectly... This might be one of my favorite episodes of anime.. if I were to think about how memorable it was. |

| TL;DR Subaru is like me but he has waifus to cheer him up. Anyways, what an episode, White Fox is already my favourite studio together with Madhouse, but this was just amazing, we got another great character development from Subaru in one of the best dialogue based episodes ever. And well, I'm not exactly a hardcore Rem fan, but damn, that rejection hurt even to me, love is blind I suppose. |

| well, subaru admitted he's a shit character so we can stop talking about that. i still don't understand why these characters love each other so much, especially why subaru loves emilia. the flashbacks of like 3 days ago made me chuckle during their chat. rem thinking about having kids with subara after knowing him not that long is laughable, but i'll just chalk that up to them being young. i really just don't like the writing and characterization in this anime. 6/10 episode, and that's mostly for the voice acting. |

While it is kind of baffling for her to be so unshakable in her devotion to him, you could say hey they're young, maybe Rem rarely meets nice boys, maybe she has hero worship and he won her over that one night when he risked his life for her and the kids. All valid reasons, a little hokey but it happens. Being in love with someone else while pursuing a different relationship, or just liking someone more despite how well a relationship is going... That also happens, it's unfortunate but at least Subaru laid his cards out on the table like a mature adult. He loves Elimia, so he rejects Rem. I liked that. But the problem still remains, since nearly the beginning of the show... Why Emilia? There's nothing there. There's less than nothing there. Subaru has this amazing trust and confidence in Rem, and she has even more hope for him, but Subaru and Emilia don't have even 1% of what Rem and Subaru have. It stopped being frustrating a while ago, I thought the mindless trope of "first girl wins" would just be in effect because this is a dumb isekai story. Okay, Emilia will always win and maybe even Subaru is just building a harem. But the very end of this episode is like, [people are a little more complicated than that.] He rejects Rem out of respect for her. Subaru's undying devotion to Emilia is baffling. We've spent so much more time with Rem, she's died for him twice. We've barely spent any time at all with Emilia. And their relationship isn't that great. It has almost no basis for existing, and it's so shallow. I thought it was a good episode. I loved that most of it was talking actually. Puck's "I will destroy the world if Emilia dies" is ridiculously destructive, why on earth... I wonder what Subaru will do now, trick the other candidates into eliminating threats? I saw one of them fighting the whale in the opening. |

| :/ Oh boy. Nothing really happened as far as plot advancement, Subaru/Rem confess to each other(big shocker there), he now has determination to "be a hero" thanks to Rems 15 minute speech. Ok, great. I guess the plot can finally move on in 19 episodes. (this series stalls for time like crazy). Also: It seems the just forgot to add Subaru's nose for a lot of the shots. Looks really bad. |

| Big Order (TV):great anime or greatest anime? |
| Not as visually impactful as 15, but amazing episode nonetheless, the dialog was just spot on and the VAs did an absolutely stellar job. Also a good episode to see who is interested in the story and characters and not some weeaboo shit like ships. |
