| Since it's April 1st, I'd like to discuss if you have ever held from telling an opinion in case of backlash? Examples of mine include: Shirou is a bad character no matter which way you slice it and the VN isn't any better only HF is good. Fate is a bad franchise besides Zero. Rin is just a smartass with all her plans failing. Kara no Kyoukai, talking to the point of nothing or just being silent for 20 minutes doesn't make you deep & meaningful. Ufotable haven't produced anything worthwhile besides Zero. They only do good animation. Cowboy Bebop only has 5 good episodes. Gintama and Berzerk don't deserve 1 on MAL. Ergo Proxy is not pretentious you're just too stupid. Tokyo Ghoul's manga is shit. Giving shit more time to 'breathe' is still shit. Saekano is not good. Steins Gate had a good time travel concept. Okabe was the only good character. It doesn't deserve 3 on MAL. Overrated. Shigatsu is just overrated, melodrama, shock factor bullshit. Your controversial statements? Would you tell them? | I've said this before, but I found Akira to be really boring. I don't really understand why people like it. I enjoyed Vividred Operation more than a lot of the anime I've watched. It's meant to be a moe fanservice anime so it's understandable why people don't like it. |

She's not a bad character, just not a good one. People just like her because she's hot, but what else is new in the anime world. Arise > GitS. Better action, more interesting plot. I was not so entranced with Motoko that I'd give the series a 10 and Serial Experiments Lain did the philosophical stuff better. Lain > all lolis.
