Sort of a similar thing has happened to me too, I originally had 12 civs with the max map size in the game but in the end I controlled literally half of the map with the second half owned by like 3-4 civs. It was a fun and a long game. I think I was Byzantine empire in that one |

If you say that it gets better later on, I might give it a second chance. |

| I only started liking Avatar in the second season IIRC. And only in the last season where I thought it was great and something worth watching, and not because the story but I suddenly started really liking the characters, their interactions and the atmosphere, and the comedy got a lot better in it. I would give it an 8/10 overall. 3rd season 9/10. |

I bought it over the weekend since it's 80% off. Eliza was one of the more likable characters I tried. Pre-buy I figured I'd end up going with Squigly despite her being a more technical character, but to my surprise I ended up liking Beowulf a lot, so I'm going with him for now. |

The combo illustrating a maxed-out gauge at the end was a tad frustrating, so I figured I'd come back to it later (both because I understood the concept, and because I figured there are more important things to focus on before combos). Today I'll probably try to figure out Beowulf's neutral better. |
