| If I had to guess I would say those guys in the masks would be the (bare with me here) Synthetic Synesthesis's. That is, people artificiality given that ability as hinted by that cooperate dude and his nekkid secretary. |
| The art and animation was detailed and amazing. The character designs are great and modern. The story is random and good. The action, awesome. Characters have good personalities. All in all, the first episode was the definition of amazing. Can't wait for more. |

| Very exciting first episode, loved how she has the eyes like Shiki from KnK and action scenes were great to watch. This series has a lot of potential, it'll be interesting to see how it is utilized. |

| Really smooth animation, good opening and ending and a lot of action. It needs a bit more explanation, though. I guess those guys got oversensationed when they put their heads off and they get too much information from their environment, so they get mind-fucked. |

| These shows don't catch my interest at all. I'll give it 2 more episodes and then I'll actually consider dropping it. The only character I like is the reporter guy. At least the animation is good and so is the action but that's hardly an actual reason to watch an anime. |

| Seems like an ok series, its doesn't seem nearly as good as say... black lagoon, but it's definitely worth the watch. |

| I loved this first episode. The animation and the OST are brilliant. And so far, there's been a lot of mystery. The Eden of the East of this season. |

| Love the animation and quality. Pretty cool. Characters were pretty good too. Voice actor suits the characters. Story pretty confused but interesting though. Overall, I enjoyed it. |

| The animation was really really good, the overall designs were also great but I never really got into the story. I had no idea whatsoever what was going on and I didnt really learn about the characters at all or end up with any connection to them . Ill keep watching it though, sometimes with shows like this it takes 3 or so episodes to start to get into it. It looks like it has great potential to be good. |

| ...Synesthesia isn't something you inject into someone or w.e. You are born with it, your senses overlap each other which makes you 'see' things that you hear or 'taste' things that you hear etc. It doesn't kill you like it did to the people in the anime though. Your eyes don't turn red when you 'activate' it because it's always 'activated'. |

But considering it's a neurological condition, and that we all share it to some, small extent (Buba/Kiki effect), we probably could develop a way to "inflict" it on people. Still, I expect this show to wholly mutilate what synaesthesia is. And that's okay, after all, it is not really trying to go for realism. What annoys me more is the bluntness with which they forcefeed us the vision theme in this episode. |

I just started with this and i wonder why i was so late. There are still things to learn but the fast action pace and the amazing artwork and animation really caught my eye. Well the good part about starting a little late is that i have about 8 episodes available to watch. |
| Looks cool, lots of action, lots of skin, lots of girl, just what macho man would want I guess. Although you don't know what the fuck is happening it makes you want more of it... No, didn't caught my eye, and I don't think it will, at lest this first episode didn't, good animation doesn't come with a good story most of the times and CANAAN isn't an exception, I'm guessing it will be some sorta of seinen with good pewpew. Certainly it has a good cast, Maya Sakamoto and LOOOOOOOOL Miyuki as CANAAN, who would think that Cal, Jun or either Dorm Leader from Maria+Holic could voice such an action character, really, just imagine Shinku from Rozen Maiden with a sniper. She should just stay with her loli characters. Anyway i'll stick with it untill the end -after all just 13 episodes-, I'm the only one from my friends that isn't watching it, and such a conmotion between them makes me wanna puke, overrated in my opinion. They should have used another word except 'Epic' ._. |
