| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I wonder how many men armed with assault rifles getting shot at it would take in order to make the festival turn into massive chaos/panic, but then again, maybe the crowds won't notice it since they're too focused on that festival dragon. EDIT: A second look at last few moments of the public gun fight, looks like folks are intentionally ignoring the people near them who get shot. A woman with sunglasses and a little girl in one shot and a boy eating cotton candy along with a woman with a cellphone and the man in the light blue shirt notice two of them getting hit. Hmm, curious. In any case, the action certainly caught my attention, on to the next episode! |

| Damn, i couldn't wait for subs :) Anyway, i liked characters, action scenes were cool (awesome Canaan acrobatics), voices suit characters, music is done well... backgrounds could be more detailed in some scenes. Something really interesting must be going on but there was too much dialogue to completly enjoy it. I'll gladly rewatch the episode when subs are out. |

| The nasuverse isn't only about mystic eyes. You don't see any mystic eyes in Fate/stay night. There so far, the only connection we know between that and Tsukihime is that Rin's master, Zelretch is Arcuid's acquaitance :P |

And of course nasuverse isn't only just about mystic eyes. I was just answering his question. As for the connections, I don't really know what your trying to say. There are a bunch of references between both works, but I won't elaborate on that since this is a CANAAN thread. Oh, and GJ! |

| This episode was awesome. I'm not familiar with this part of TYPE-MOON's franchise, but I had high expectations...which were not let down in the least. Probably best 1st ep this season so far. (Haven't watched ZSZS, Bakemonogatari and OtK2 yet though so..) Love the OP aswell. :3 |

I'm sensing major epicness here :p Wondering though, what kind of disease could these men have that they seem to drop dead when their 'masks' are being taken off? Of course not referring to those that were totally owned by Canaan :p Can't wait for the subs & next week.. edit: unexpectedly, gg picked this up and released the first ep! |

| Been waiting a long time for this now. That was pretty sweet, just how I expected. The witty style elements are awesome and the music seems to be great too, can't wait for more. |

| Awesome first episode. Great OP/ED, interesting characters, awesome visuals and something rare called "plot". This show really seems to have one hell of potential. The things I liked especially were small details like Canaan shooting that plush cat during the sniper session at the beginning of the episode (though it hasn't been shown) and later on claiming it from the girl. The binding of the photograph girl with the thread that symbolizes their friendship was also an interesting detail. Presentation of the preview was really unique and nice, too. Best 1st episode of this season so far from those which are currently available (imo). |

| I had a pretty hard time following what was going on in terms of any potential plot line but visually, that was absolutely spectacular. Canaan is in her own class of badass. Sawashiro Miyuki as her VA too <3 |
| Wow! That was intense! Ya think they spent a little on the animation? Smooth action scenes and detail. Besides the visual treat, I'm left wanting more of the story as well. |

| Fu fu fu, seems lyk nobody post their luv for Liang swan yet, so here I go: I LOVE LIANG SWAAAAAANNNNN!!!!! Feel so jealous of these old bastards who get to see her naked & the one who got the privilege to receive her kick. Well, episode was badass, definitely 1 if not da best of this season. Anyone care to Xplain to me the faction stuffs: Snake, & watever it is ? Only thing dat I did not get yet. Hope there's more of Liang's hotness nxt ep too. |

| Badass episode was badass, I think I'll follow this on. I wonder though, since this is a Nasu anime, could it be reasonable to assume that Maybe it's just because the effect seemed very similar to Shiki's in KnK. |

| This episode was zi shit!. Non-stop action, gorgeous artwork with a lot of amazingly detailed backgrounds, nice atmosphere, and interesting plot. I have high hopes for this series, hopefully it will deliver. |

| WOW dam only 13 episodes the first episode was pretty good =D of the 3 new animes i seen so far this summer i gatta say this is the best xD the preview was pretty good too iono this anime just gives of this unique feeling that makes u want to watch more, and makes the unusual , usual ... imo xD Massive potential indeed , the Synesthesia concept also looks interesting ah looks like the producers are Type-moon the same ppl that animated FSN =D |
