And for those who put Elvis's pic after the statement 'Michael Jackson is the king of pop', why?

Elvis was 'The King' sure, but more specifically he was 'The King of Rock and Roll'

Totally different genres of music.

My point is that nothing makes a musician more popular than their death.

I guarantee you that by tomorrow he will be rated the best musician EVER of ANY genre by EVERYONE

and one week from now the best selling album will be either a complete MJ discog, a tribute CD, or a re-release of his most popular album

Oh for fuck's sake.

The guy may be dead, if you guys wanna bash him, why don't you use one of the spam threads made on this topic. And as he was cleared of all wrongdoing on that matter, comments on that subject belong in Spam.

The guy was/is an amazing singer, dancer and one of the most amazing stage performers to be born in modern times.

CBS now also confirming.

Apparently Aussie journalists are waiting on a leak from hospital staff, as they're not patient enough to wait for a statement from the family.

Fucking journo's.

Irrelevant. Michael Jackson could not possibly get any more popular than he already was. The only people who don't know this man are aliens, and when they come, I don't have any doubt that we'll be playing Beat It while kicking their ass.

But even in life, MJ was called the King of Pop. Not sure about Elvis, but I think he also had the title of 'The King' when he was alive.

And I really don't think it will be one week from now, that'll be the funeral. If there was gonna be a new CD or compilation disc, it would be released after that.

Still, he made some of the greatest hits of his time, and Thriller is still called the best music clip of all time, so you gotta give him respect for that, even if you don't for anything that happened in his personal life.

Any updates from the family or a hospital staff leak yet?

The government has just released a statement saying that Micheal Jackson cannot be cremated as this will go against their green agenda.
Because he is 80% plastic he will have to be recycled.

I agree. It's all over TV right now. American news...and even on Japanese news and talk shows. Turning into major global news already. A lot of radio shows around the world are playing all Michael Jackson songs.

Calm down, this is all just an elaborate ruse...everyone should realize this by now. Michael isn't dead...in fact he's planning a new tour and this is just the first stop. Here's how it'll go down:

At the funeral people will be crying their eyes out, their souls are shattered at the lost of their great hero. They can still hear Thriller in their heads, but no, it's not in their heads. That deep bass is playing from speakers cleverly disquised as tombstones nearby.

From the fucking coffin Michael will rise in full Thriller gear ready to fucking rock! He will start the elaborate Thriller dance as graves explode as the ACTUAL FUCKING LIVING DEAD RISE TO DANCE. Michael will lead them all on the biggest tour he has ever been on! Globetrotting across the world to locales such as Paris, Rome, Tokyo...everyone is just so happy to see him!

Then we all become zombies thanks to MJ's necromancy, but we don't care we're all too busy dancing like fools.

I have a feeling that his death will correlate with Elvis's and Walt Disney's. Abducted by aliens or frozen.. but now 'zombiefied'? Seriously though.... Death is a sad thing. It's not the time and place to be singing ding dong the witch is dead, or crap like that. Death is a sad sad thing. Just because he was a little bit weird, doesn't necessarily make him a bad person.

Anyways, the spirit of MJ lives on.
