| In an effort to combat slow response times and long page loading, I'm testing out some new things on MAL. What this will most likely do is cause user images/signatures/avatars to have long delays before you see your latest update appear (upwards of 30-60 minutes). I apologize for the inconvenience, but understand that I'm doing the best I can with the resources I have to work with. We'll get through this soon. :) |

| thank god, i was starting to think it's just me going nuts.. ya the site has been unusable in the afternoons around 1:00-4:00PM pacific time... it takes 3-4 tries to load a single page during that time and even when it loads it takes forever.. hopefully this will fix it |

| I've not visited this section of the forums before so I was unaware of this work being carried out. The fallout for me is the loss of my wallpaper for my Anime List page which is still absent despite being uploaded again. Thanks though for the continuing improvement of the site. :) |
