I find all the trash talking against the Japanese so funny because Japan just won the WBC a few days ago. Lol.

Anyway, looking forward to the matches.

And poor Shimizu, always being tossed aside.

They are just setting up USA vs Japan the whole way, kinda lame imo, i think they should let some other team crush USA later on so that something unexpected happens for once.

By the way Gibson was acting on the mound my guess is he suffered a heart attack.

Also, this show has a underdog triumphing over incredible odds formula so they have to portray Japan as the underdogs even though in reallity there is nothing underdog about Japanese baseball. Now the Netherlands winning would have been a story but Japan winning isn't all that unexpected.

MJN is the only group subbing major and they had some things going on recently. New eps should be released in a week or so tops I am assuming. Can't wait!

Poor Team Canada, I was hoping for a win. The three straight HRs was pretty lame.

WAH!! I'll be damned it is, I wonder what she is doing here? Well Silva just signed Venezuela's death card.

Also its cool that they actually made it look like Dodger Stadium.

Another racist asshole. LOL Beat him to pieces, Goro!

I wanted to cheer for Canada but they kinda sucked in that match sadly. :/

Too be honest I didn't even know Canada was big on baseball, like at all . . . I thought their interests in sports mirrored that of the majority of Europeans, with Soccer and stuff like that. Anywhom, I wonder if Goro will even pitch at all against that team. Would be awesome if he struck that Silva guy out.

There was that mysterious girl they have put the focus on. She's on the cover image too. She look like Ryoko. I wonder what she would be doing there or how she'd be relevant.

Goro better rekt that Silva. This is personal now! It's nice to see Sanchez back too.

It's kinda funny that they say that USA is the grand favorite, even though Cuba won the majority of the titles, way ahead the United States. I guess the USA is the Vancouver of the hockey : always selected as the favorite ; never win.

Ahhh, Canada. We're good at losing against the USA ;P

Not really, our sport national sport pretty much is hockey, but we also have a football and soccer league (which are way less strong than the USA). We were also once pretty involved in baseball, but our club have been buyed out one by one... Montreal is interested in getting a club back though.

lmao, you can just tell so many sports anime are bred from the japanese inferiority complex. we may not be as athletic, but we have supreme tactics, unbeatable strategy and, of course, NIPPON FIGHTING SPIRIT!!!

What? I definitely spotted Ryoko walking by Shimizu in airport too and was wondering what that was about. Did she come to watch Gibson or something?

Speaking of Gibson, with the way it's going I'm expecting him to retire or possibly even die after this season. He clearly has some sort of health problem. I guess that makes Japan more likely to win the World Cup since it might be Gorou's only chance to ever face Gibson.

Looking forward to the Venezuela match.

Canada is not exactly a hot bed for baseball. They do have the Blue Jays, but they're not very well supported and baseball is not a part of Canada's sports fabric.

Thought Gibson could just be dehydrated or something, but lets hope its not a heart attack.

i thought that rhythm wasn't good reason enough for that kind of play from gibson, wonder what is it.
and i really wondered what about shimizu and in the end she didn't quit and followed goro to LA.
next time - high pump game vs schantz.

Gibson doesn't look like he's at the best health condition as expected since he's 40s (wiki), the age most baseball players have already long been retired. Totally forgot about Sanchez, nice to see him back and also playing in the world cup.
