Well I don't watch long running anime. I usually watch an anime with 13-25 episodes. Even if it's a shorter anime and they have filler episodes, I don't skip them. I wouldn't add it to my list if I skip episodes.

If the anime has a lot of fillers (coughbleachcough) I skip them. If it's just a couple episodes I watch them most of the time.

I've always skipped the fillers in Naruto and Bleach, because they lack the same quality as the original story. I did watch one filler arc in Naruto though - and enjoyed it a lot.. Don't remember with it was :P

I only watch filler episodes if I think the filler is enjoyable. If it isn't enjoyable, I skip it.

Naruto filler for example is only enjoyable with Team Minato in my opinion

One Piece filler is only enjoyable when it's not a stupid advertisement for a movie.

Bleach filler was never enjoyable.

I'm a filler hater myself but I actually watched a bunch of Naruto fillers and found them pretty enjoyable. Shadow of the Anbu arc is actually pretty good and answers some plot holes. the War fillers actually make the war arc a little better because you get to see some development from the Konoha 11 and you see fights that the manga left out. Also there's some pretty hilarious fillers like the Kakashi mask one in Part 1 and the Hot Springs episode (Hinata's breasts good lord)

I really think that if I'm watching it week by week as it's being released, I can't help but want to watch them anyway. If it's online and the series is ahead of me, I will usually watch them anyway.
Sometimes they can seem kinda dumb though so I've skipped a few.

It normally goes against my 'MUST WATCH THIS IN ORDER NO MATTER WHAT" rule.....but the Bleach fillers are indeed boring.....I want to get back into the series again...but I'm probably going to skip those.

Whereas I watched every single filler for Sailormoon and enjoyed most of them a lot. I dunno, I suppose it depends on the anime?

The Inuyasha fillers were good; they were used for either comedy or character development....and that's appreciated. It's when fillers make characters go OOC or do something really stupid that I dislike.

As long as they aren't just 20 minute flashbacks to previous episodes I will watch them. I value characters over story and even if it's just them doing a bunch of random stuff together that I haven't seen before, it can still be entertaining.

I usually watch all filler episodes because they're fun to watch! Sometimes they can be boring, but I hate not watching because then I'll be curious about what it was and how it ended lol So to keep my sanity I generally just make it a rule to watch all episodes even if they're filler! A lot of the time they turn out to be entertaining! :)

You can't say you've watched an anime if you haven't seen all the episodes, that's what I think at least, or that's my opinion.
I feel that with fillers we get to se more stories, like side stories.
Maybe the fillers aren't always important, but it's fun to watch.

Depends on the anime and whether I'm marathoning or not.
Whenever I was marathoning One Piece I skipped them and then went back and watched them later.
I never skip Gintama filler because it's usually enjoyable anyway.

Sometimes fillers act actually as canonstory-enhancers, like the ones in the original HXH, and some in FMA too (although the latter really has some completely irrelevant chapters, even for the own story that one developed)

Adopting a no-filler policy may entail losing the chance of watching really great and satisfying episodes.

For me most of the anime I watch don't really have fillers but this is how I make of fillers I kind of pull a dbz that it all happens in an alternate universe.

But yeah I watch the fillers I don't mind if it gets off track once in awhile to mix it up a bit.

and I know alot of people might disagree with me saying this but Bleach does have a good example of how a filler arc can make a story better with the bount arc example when the beginning of the Arrancar arrival arc when Ichigo meets Shinji and feels that his inner hollow is getting closer to him.

It kind of made it a bit better since in the manga his hollow only took over once (at the time) but with the bount arc put into it added 1 1/2 more times making it even harder for Ichigo (imo) another part that adds to it is when he's fighting his hollow in his inner world and Ichigo ended up fighting Byakuya, Kenpachi they added Kariya to make another odd for him to face telling Ichigo that he's still weak since his resolve to kill him on Sokyoku hill wasn't enough.

(sorry if I screwed this up or if I made this kind of confusing)

You're deluded.

And yes i do, it is because i want to watch every episode from that Anime otherwise i would feel like i actually haven't completed that Anime.

And what if that filler episode refers to the Canon? You would be missing out on something.

I don't see the problem with fillers, some of them are fun to watch. I guess Naruto gave it a bad name lol.

In my opinion, fillers are good if it did add to the background and felt worth it by the end you watch it.

If i am to talk about Fillers, then it had to be Naruto.
Naruto's fillers, on the other hand, isn't. It was painfully clear as a day that the fillers were intentionally made just to fill up the episode count to 500, and as such, the fillers were extremely low in quality and content.
Maybe some appreciated it, but for a lot of people who just want the story to move forward and resolutes, it irks them to the level of disappointment with the series.
It's time to play the Game folks!
