| I'm not overly too impresed with this manga, there are better zombie stories in existance, this twist was somewhat to be expected... the thing that annoys me the most about this piece is that author constantly creates convinience for the story- in key moments characters really have luck, survival characters types - you know the average guy, genius guy, at least one stoic, leader figure guy etc... except for innovation with the viruses, nice art and some twists to the zombie context this isn't overly imaginative piece, not in zombie genre terms nor in the survival genre terms. Just a shade above the average in manga terms. |
| Yeah, the beast of convenience and plot armor do strike at times (like I still have no bloody clue how everyone survived the fall or didn't get bitten 2 chapters ago, except for that kid who died) but every series, especially survival, is at least somewhat guilty of that. |

| This chapter was definitely the major make or break moment of the series so far for me. The author didn't get too sciencey here, so hopefully there's still more explanation to come, but from what was said, I was ok with. I liked how Yamanoi was feeling out the scientist lady and even hung up on her when he got annoyed. But his interest was peaked when she spoke of a cure and he glances over at Maeda. It's probably going to be a bitch to get to her, but I guess I'd rather try and risk failure than turn into a dickless monster with Juha Bach eyes. |
