| They seriously overestimated the complexity of the MMOs in this series. 5 players can't beat 5 lower lvl skelets it's just impossible even for total newbies. |

Even the 'normal' monsters in Elder Tales were made for 1v1 at best, and the dungeon ones are slightly harder. Please don't confuse Elder Tales with a current generation MMO where trash mobs don't do any damage at all, it's more based on older games like Everquest. |

Or that it's a hyper advanced civilization sim run by multiple super computers. The later is a bit unlikely because the level of technology hasn't advanced that far yet in the story setting (21st century references everywhere). |

| I think this and the next episode is going to be one of my favorite parts of this series. Lots of good interactions, Rudie is freaking hilarious, Princess NEET and of course the lovely political intrigue with the Nobles. Oh so much fun. :3 |

Kawahara wasn't focusing on that aspect too much. LH does. And for people who are looking for that sort of thing LH is heaven. SAO completely veers away from the standard MMO theme in the current arc. And it's surprisingly good. Just don't go looking for gaming nostalgia since it isn't about that at all. LH is great in portraying that old school MMO feel and we love it for that. But SAO also has some good points (I'm talking about the novels mostly). It's just that it doesn't really revolve around the theme but just uses it as a backdrop. There's a definite difference. It just depends on what type of series you're looking for. |

| This anime basically is how I wish reality would be. Having the option to choose your class and stuff. Contributing to making the city and the world safer. Or going on adventures. Man, thats the life. This anime is pure awesome. Watching as something starts out small, and grows bigger and bigger. (No sex joke intended, only their city and importance in the world and story) EDIT : I wonder though, will this anime become just like another I watched that, it starts off with all this adventure`n`shit, but turns out the other half is just politics, and economy, with little to no action whatsoever. But, as long as Shiroe and Akatsuki get together, Its all good. xD |
