| Will we get like any updates on this... like this thread is more than 7 years old.. and has been in consideration since 2018.. Like... Most people know MAL is a dinosaur but this is slowly beginning to get insane.. we have a dark mode now on the app for Android (Idk if IOS also has it cause I don't have IOS) so why still no dark mode on the website?.. T.T |

| Came here to see if there were topics about a dark mode suggestion. I really hope you guys can implement it soon, it has become nearly a standard option for almost all big websites and softwares. White background hurts so much... |
| Stylish extension for google chrome and mozilla firefox has been wonderful for me. You can customize it how ever you want. And even add anime characters in the background. I just use the standard dark mode version to make it easier to read. I hate the standard white vanilla background on MAL. It's super bright and ugly just like my ex-girlfriend. |

| You can use the Dark Theme linked here with the Stylus extensions also linked there https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1747865 The Crayon theme also makes MAL a lot easier on the eyes for some people :D |

| Extensions and themes are heavy. A built-in dark theme would make life so much easier than extensions to many people. Or, we could have a MAL app (since building apps seems to be a trend) that does let dark theme (like Discord). Last time I tried to use MAL on mobile it seemed limited compared to the website though; they may not be ready for that yet. |
