In flaschback seen his brother's girlfriend Linda and her lover meant a lot, if it was me, I would have ruined them pretty well especially for him, I was one of those gifts that are not supported himself as if he forgot! Hee! Hee! Hee! (Bastard inside)
Nice episode, the director is not wrong to linger on the memories of Tada, there is more time to sample comprehensively the painful Linda! T_T
The pathos reaches its climax, I also think that the series will end, as often happens with the reconciliation of the two lovers and a nice two of spades childhood friend, I too would like a different ending to that Tada is with Linda, not Koko because you hate nothing at all, she is very sweet and insecure! Lacks experience is not a goose and greedy bitch! Those are very different, despite having the same attitude.
Shame on the drawings and animations! D:

He got his body back!!! Captain i detect a shitstorm. Everyone quick roll the sails, ships may go down.

After this episode is quite clear he has a lot deeper bonds with Linda that Kouko bonds don't even come close. Also kouko is kind of crazy and annying so Linda ftw. Linda is a more mature, logical decent person by far.

Whether it is or not it depends if you read the manga, novel or whatever. Cause if you say that while you've already read one of those then it's a spoiler.
If not then it's just your conclusion.

I am curious about this myself. If it plays out like actual amnesia, he should have conflicting memories now. Probably a massive headache as well.

From the look of it, it seems like the ghost Banri entered amnesia Banri's body, which probably means that the current Banri will have no feeling for Kouko. I hope that's not the case though.

-1 for Linda, I don't like her way of handling the matter of her brother's fiance, I do understand that she is conflicted and such, but I disagree with that method. That man looked creepy, wonder if he'll be brought back again.

Banri, you smooth-talking playboy of a lady killer

And now I think I just saw a suspect for the bridge incident... that guy with whom Linda's brother's fiancee was having an affair.

Aw, hell... Chekhov's gun just fired a shot. We were being shown Banri's "ghost of years past"... because he had a huge role to fulfill, of course. Now that role is coming up and he has just stepped on stage taking the place of "new" Banri. Will the "new" Banri ever come back? Or has he simply merged with his old self?

If things don't get complicated from Banri getting his memories back... I don't know what will. The potential for things going up in flames with just him back to his old self with all of his old memories, is pretty darn high.

Kouko getting all "sick" was probably due to her hearing Banri shouting on the balcony... if she heard all of that then it would all make sense. That she'd become anxious of her boyfriend leaving her for another woman all of a sudden, which is unlikely if she suspected nothing.

Holy shit, that situation is a bomb waiting to explode.

So now ghost Banri have a body huh? I'm sure that he'll start showing sign of double personnality. This could turn really messy.

Maybe in the few next episode, he will tell his love to Linda and she will feel disgusted because he's going out with Koko.

He finally kissed Koko :D
When ghost Banri said that he conforted Linda in the past, I thought that he kissed her, what a bummer :P

Koko is really an interresting character. I thought that she was ''faking'' love with Banri but I'm not sure anymore. It really look like she fallen in love with him because he gave her attention. She's a really insecure person.

Okay, now I am convinced that Kouko really loves Banri. I mean, they kissed, and that's awesome *^* It's pretty obvious that Kouko heard Banri and Linda's conversation at the balcony, or she saw Banri and Linda's picture.
Poor Linda's big brother :/ I thought that girl will start the car and ran Banri over. I think those 2 are involved with Banri's accident.
Linda and Banri's conversation and relationship back then ;_; They look really great together, but I can't help but love Banri and Kouko more. I guess Linda is for me :3

Well after showing that flashback, I don't think I could possibly support Linda. It was already bad enough with her avoiding Banri after the accident, a sort of "double missed your chance". I suppose the quirky/broken moral compass fits with her character though.

And now the "Behindi Banri" has taken over Banri's Body? This won't be good. (Of course, he can't actually take over the body, the closest it could be would be the re-emergence of a negative persona in someone with dissociative identity disorder. Not that Banri has any reason whatsoever to have DID)

This is my, god idk, umpteenth time rewatching this show. And I never forget that this is the episode that put the nail in the coffin for me as to why Linda will never be best girl.

Linda's entire attitude towards Banri is basically a lie. She's a liar to the core. She absolutely shit on Banri to all of her friends with Banri in earshot, just so she could sound superior? I don't even know her reason. Bottom line it was fucking obnoxious. And then the next few days she kept trying to play it off on Banri like it was nothing (thank god he didn't take any of her shit).

Flash forward to the present day, and she was hiding the fact that she knew him because she was playing a self-pity card. "Oh, I thought it was my fault!" Soooo...what exactly does that have to do with hiding the truth?

When they were first discussing his past together, she glossed over a lot of things just because she didn't want the deep truth to come out. Like his true feelings for her back then, or what her answer would've been. He was already dating Kouko and just wanted to piece his past back together, but she still lied to him, even after explicitly saying "we cant hide things from each other anymore. words get more toxic the longer they take to say".

Then this betrayal of her brother was the final straw. She "didn't want to make her brother sad", but thought it was totally ok to let him live a lie. I would think that a momentary bit of sadness is nothing compared to a lifetime of a fucking lie. All she did was tell the fiancé not to cheat...yea...I'm sure that fucking worked. They way that dude was looking out the window, I'll bet she still comes back for more. Also considering how she said "yea I went home and saw my brother...among other things", implied that he's still married to her and the truth never came out. Also implying she is probably still cheating on him.

So it actually surprises me that so many people on this episodes thread keep shipping Banri x Linda. How can you possibly defend her? It mostly seems like people just don't like Kouko. Linda has no real likeable traits.

I'd pick the over attached, clingy girl who's deeply in love with me over a fucking liar who's basically lied to me my entire life any day.

Great episode!

Glad to see some background info on what happened to Linda and Banri. I think the glasses guy was the one who pushed him in the bridge due to him and Linda interfering with Linda's affair with him.

I thought Kouko was acting weird is because she overheard Banri and Linda's conversation at the balcony.

So now Ghost Banri has entered the new Banri's body. I wonder what will happen now :O

Can't wait for the next episode!

The affair stuff was interesting.

I also thought Koko was acting weird because she overhead the balcony conversation between Banri and Linda.

What an interesting turn of events. Banri getting his body back, but apparently ditching the old Banri's personality in the process. I feel kinda bad because that is exactly what the old Banri feared, but you couldn't help feeling bad for ghost Banri as he watches his body spend more time with Koko than Linda. Honestly not sure if this was a good thing or bad thing. I guess i will find out haha.

I really loved this episode.

There was the romantic scene with Koko and Banri kissing, and still, they manage to get me also caught up in the romance between Linda and Banri. The romance between Linda and Banri has something special, I don't know, I prefer it a little bit more, but Koko has also something interesting... And now the things will get a new level with the physical body and ghost reuinited...?

I've been really enjoying this series so far, aside from a few odd moments here and there I think I was even enjoying it more than Toradora but this episode kinda lost me here. I don't really mind the majority of the content, the stuff with Linda & Banri's past was interesting though not among my favorites of the flashbacks but the cliffhanger basically assures that the series was going to commit to the path I was hoping they'd avoid. I'm typically averse to amnesia plots, and I wasn't thrilled when I found out this would include one but I liked the way the series tackled it but I started to become a bit skeptical when Ghost Banri got involved.

On his introduction, I thought he was a novel way of displaying the tragedy at the core of his amnesia. Despite his developing relationship with Koko, there's a great sense of loss to him and his relationships (primarily Linda) was a nice way of illustrating that. But giving Ghost Banri too much of an active role in the story kinda repels me. It makes the plot feel less real (obviously, his presence didn't help in the first place) but in the context of the series, it paints him as the antagonist of the story. Depicting him mainly as an obstacle to Koko/Banri's relationship, since dividing the two Banri's up this drastically puts them at opposition with each-other, separate entities even. I'm more interested in the series treating Banri's recovering memory in a way that places Tada himself responsible rather than the ghost of him (I hope this makes sense so far, it's coming across a little jumbled in my mind, anime is weird).

My hope is that there's a more delicate handling with Ghost Banri returning to his body but considering how he got his body back, I have my doubts. Because there was nothing that happened over the course of the episode to justify him returning to his body. My guess is that Linda mentioning her brother & reciting his speech back to him intensified his desire to return but they didn't really convey that (I'm pretty sure that moment was circling through his head a ton, pretty sure they stated explicitly that Ghost Banri is always thinking about Linda). Instead of the cliffhanger feeling like natural progression it felt like it happened for drama convenience.

*Edit*

Forgot to mention, that dude Linda's brother finance was cheating on with is most likely the guy on the motorcycle who hit Banri. At least, that's what I think. Not sure it's actually important for the series to ever divulge that information but if they do, it's him. Calling it.
