| So much information and I don't understand at all. The only thing I got is that regular Titans are their own entity with no human piloting from the neck, but the implication that they have been human before is looked into with the Roof Titan being the foundation of that theory. Their weakness seems to have something to do with the nerve connection in the spine and to serve it from the brain ceases activity. I try to make sense of all of this with only pictures to go by, but it probably won't be long till we know for sure. Also, am I the only one who thought Erwin with a beard looked a lot like Mike? |
| ^ Well, they are not all that different type of men, so it's expected. But I'll take Erwin - the negligent beard is way better :) I am looking at that spinal cord pictures. Titans don't die if their heads are merely severed, right? Hanji said once that she busted a research subject by cutting an area too close or too deep off the nape. Judging by the image, her test subject (here) didn't die when she opened the skin on the neck vertically. First to be noted, is that titans have brains and a spinal cord, that is - a CNS, similar to humans. Second, the chunk, which would lead to their death, is rather large - the cerebellum, the dorsal area of the brain, and the cervical nerves are basically missing in the next picture. Can't say what she is talking about, but, most likely, she provides evidence that titans are/were humans on the line of what Connie is saying about his mother. |

| :D, so Erwin used to make people nervous in his early days, that was why he joined the Scouting Legion ^_^ I knew I'd like him and the other creeps in there. Seriously, though, didn't we have such a moment before (b/w Erwin and Levi) in the FT arc. What I am seeing is how Levi is somewhat surprised when Erwin snaps. He might deem it unfitting or scary, but apparently he doesn't like seeing the Erwin he is not used to. (Anyway, the only one on the verge of insanity seems to be Christa. I guess, her affection to Ymir was stronger than Christa herself had thought). Other things: * There are underground cities below Wall Rose, too Sina. Very well built, I see. Emergency capacity, however, confirmed to be low - a week of food for half of the inhabitants within the Wall. After that, a man-eat-man situation, suicide, or the MPs taking charge. Awful. * The Scouting Legion barely exists - initially understaffed, now - sustaining heavy losses, and few annoying brats for replacements. * Humans can be turned into titans. Still unclear if humans and titans' weak spots overlap or titans' weak spot is a new structure - perhaps, the dissolving human inside. * Eren's memories are foggy and the new ability is mostly evidenced by the others. Yet, he decides to do more. * Yahari, Jean is Jean -_-, and Sasha - irreplaceable :D |

| Chapters like this are finally a breath of fresh air. Having characters inaction all the time makes them look one dimensional which is a shame. We get a lot of development and depth through these. I mean, I cared about Connie. |

| I got really confused in this chapter xD I need to re read it again and yeah the chapters art isn't the greatest but it's not that bad... Good chapter, chapters like these have to happen every once in awhile otherwise we would have no good story progression. Now to wait another month :'( |

| Mikasa seems to suffer from the inconsistent art more than most people, but it doesn't bother me too much. I LOVE the interaction between the 104th, it was so funny when Jean was teasing Sasha lol. I feel so bad for Connie though, I've always liked him and what a totally insane thing to have to deal with. Interesting to see Erwin doing his creepy smile and unnerving Levi, I'm still glad he survived though. A small thing like having his arm bitten off is nothing!!!! |

| The worst part about each chapter is having to wait a month for the next one. Enjoyed this as an easy, take a breath chapter, as well as for the characters figuring out what we have all been guessing. |
