| The ED song this time is an old classic written back in 1990, it turns out. Here is the full version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsfM1ygNGvM It is called 夏祭り or なつまつり or Natsumatsuri or Summer Festival. | Ah, so they squished the estrogen and ants chapters together. Makes sense, I guess, these two mirror each other pretty well. That feel when you realize that even stray cats get more action than you do... That final scene: not sure if heartwarming or creepy. | I would never have imagined it was a vocaloid. It sounds great to me. I managed to find the version of that song as sung by the original artists posted on YouTube. But "Columbia has blocked it on copyright grounds". In any case, there are many cover versions to enjoy. |

| I am also desperate to see the subs. However, on balance, I would much prefer that they take their time to do it properly. It really makes a mess when the subbing is not done properly. I recall in Episode 1 they decided to use the word "gestaltzerfall". It took me a lot of Googling to figure out what that meant. Later I realized that it made no sense at all. People make poor choices when they are pulling an all-nighter to get a job done. From what I have seen, the normal delay for subbing is something like 24 hours, and it has not even been 12 hours yet. If you are really desperate, read ahead in the manga in chapters 6, 11 and 12 and you can figure most of it out. The images from the anime are very similar to the original images in the manga. |

| Another extremely funny episode. The cats were sexin it like champs in the middle of the parking lot. Anyone else feel itchy when the ants showed up? Tomoko partakes in voyeurism with a couple of middle schoolers. Also that ED was pretty good. |

| How does the score for this show keep going down? How is it even below 8? Normally I don't get hung up on scores, or even care, but damn. This is one of the best comedy shows I've seen in years; every episode exceeds all my expectations, and turns the somewhat disposable vignettes of the manga into cohesive, audiovisual hilarity. Minor rant aside, excellent episode, as usual. The segues into these unique ED sequences are beyond awesome. |
