| I like Oga's new power. He trained two aspects of using demonic energy that were in opposition to each other. Like Matter and Antimatter. He managed to fuse them together creating huge, huge amount of power. It's not an asspul power. He worked on it from the start but it was Takamiya influence that finally let him go the right way and finish his new technique. There will be something terrible going to happen to Himekawa next chapter to putting the light out... Bel had to go somewhere. I get the feeling that Bel will come back as giant FLY BEL to stomp the school and make Tora sad, sad hard working man. |

It is pretty much a concrete example of that concept. Takamiya is a small fry, he is only a pawn controlled by the real enemy. Defeating him would serve no other purpose than simply bringing a short lasting peace. What Oga's group need is intel and this intel will only be accessible to someone that has some sort of rank among the Solomon Company. Himekawa is not a fool that resolve his problem with strength, he is someone that use a fundamentally different kind of power which is called influence. Also it was heavily hinted that Himekawa is Oga's number 3. That crest system is absolute, it is not something that you can fickle as you wish. You will get the crest from someone you acknowledge from the bottom of your hearth as your king (or a similar existence). |
