| Just read the RAW, won't be going back to reread it once the translated version is out. Rushed doesn't even begin to describe this train wreck of a conclusion, it is by far the most underwhelming ending you could possibly give a series like this. They defeat the alien, manage to escape back to earth as the alien ship caves in upon itself and are reunited with Tae and Kato's brother on the beach of plot convenience. The end, everybody gets a happy ending, no further closure to be found. I wouldn't have a problem with this if it wasn't completely contrary to the theme of the series had built up to this point (as bland and as same old as it was). It's clear that Oku is just fed up with Gantz so if he can't care then I'm not going to bother either. This is the worst manga ending that I have read so far and is a hot contender for having one of the worst endings of any story based medium ever. 1/5. |

| This ending man...what a rushed crap...I'm so dissappointed with this, how can he turn a MASTERPIECE into this? I just don't get it, if he was tired of writing Gantz then he should have just ended it and forget about this invasion stuff. Whatever, a 10 series turned out to be a 9 because of the final arc. This sucks, stop lurking for money Oku. I just noticed that in the last page's first panel there's Kaze, Mary (blonde girl) and Takeshi. I guess that's the only thing of the whole chapter that makes me happy, Kaze and Takeshi deserved a good ending, best character of the manga! |

| Well.. happy ending i guess.. BUT SO RUSHED. But i expected more, i mean there are a lot of holes, like what the heck happened to the vampires, why they gave up so easily. | This ending was so reminiscent to "Independence Day". LOL, kill the aliens, save the Earth, get back to earth from their ship before everything goes to hell. Once you arrive to earth, be embraced by your loved ones.... I want to be fair with my final impressions of GANTZ. There was a point when I considered this manga to be very damn good and I actually had it at a 10/10...obviously that changed drastically due to the inconsistent plot holes, abandoning sub plots for no apparent reason, and giving us a pretty crappy ending arc. Regardless, the majority of this manga was a THRILL to read and it had many great moments. Final Score....7/10. |

| Very cliche and rushed end, a real shame. Actually, I was enjoying this arc of the Apocalypse, there were some epic scenes for example the aliens invading the earth, the discovery of others "gantz", Kei climbing a skyscraper with bare hands, etc. However, this will remain one of my favorite series of all time, I just feel sorry for the end otherwise I would have given a perfect score. Thank you Hiroya for these unforgettable 13 years of publication! 9/10 |

| 3 years reading this and...wha..? This is the one of the most rushed and empty endings i ever seen, I'm not so disappointed because i know there's a lot of people who read gantz since the start and of course they will feel betrayed now with this crap ending. |

| This last chapter... Dafuq? Anyway, this manga was a pretty damn good read, until the last arc with the final chapter.... Edit: Just read the translated scans... Overall 7.5-8/10, but that's just me. |

But seriously, what a happy ending How.... Love to see how negative a reaction this got. 40% of fans who've followed this Manga to the end just to rate the actual conclusion a 1/5. |

| I didn't think the ending was horrible, just the epitome of mediocrity. It was just incredibly cliche and predictable (and resolved little, if anything). While it was somewhat marred by this last arc, I still think the series, for me, deserves an 8/10 as a testimony to the quality of the earlier parts of the series. |

| Anyone expected something good after everything that happened in the last couple of arcs? The author clearly had no idea what to do with the story and every chapter was just a waste of pages and tried to drag the story as much as possible. 9/10 for the 1st half of the manga, 5/10 for the 2nd half. Overall 7 but +1 for the good old times, because i love his artstyle and actually never dropped in quality . 8/10 final score. |

| I didn't enjoy the ending, I felt the whole 'everyone who died in this arc gets revived' plot point was contrived (as was the entire beach scene, really) to force a happy ending, although I'd still give the manga a 9 simply because of the fond memories I have of the first 300~ chapters, as well as the bright spots in Katastrophe. |
| That was a really rushed and unsatisfying ending, like seriously, that could have been cut down to 5 pages in 382, but whatever. Gantz will go down as one of the greatest series I have read. |
