| It was really sad. It would be hard to look at this child after killing it's mother. She was just protecting it -_- Putting that aside, this guy really looks weird without ears among these people. No one is surprised? |

Haha, I'm still wondering why everyone has those ears anyway... After seeing Mutikapa kill an entire family - children and parents - I found it a little hard to feel bad when it/she died. I would feel bad if the baby was left on its own, but... thankfully, Aruruu somehow knew about it and saved it. I think the newly named "Hakuoro" is right, too: Mutikapa's cub is an innocent life, and it wouldn't be right to judge it (and kill it) because of Mutikapa's bloodthirsty attitude... Maybe it will grow up only to betray them later, though. Who knows? I hope not, but guess we'll find out... Anyway, great episode. :D I'm enjoying this, but waiting to find out what the actual plot or goal of the story is supposed to be. |

| Very interesting to see killing a nature spirit cast in any light other than an evil one, as in Princess Mononoke. I appreciate the honest kill-or-be-killed logic of it. |

| OP for the show indicates the tiger-cub becomes useful as it grows up, so it's not too bad a move for it to be raised by the younger daughter. He's finally earned a name, and pretty clearly the Eruruu is more than a little interested in him. From an off-hand comment by Pop's wife in the first episode, it looks like she's of the age where it's expected to find a husband, so good luck girl. |

| I was wondering what was going to happen to the tiger since it appears in the OP at first I thought they wouldn't kill it but thank god they did and it's the cub the one that is taken in. The mother killed innocent people so she had to die and the guy said it well that the cub is born pure with light doing evil so yeah. The only is like others felt is the name, why give the fathers name it's just weird. |

| This episode was intense but I did like how it was executed and now that we know why the mother was acting like that, it makes me feel bad for her. Can't wait to see what the next episode brings. |

| So he gets a name :D, I'm really liking Hakuoro's character so far. Didn't really feel bad for the Mutikapa considering what it's done. That little cub so cute d'awwww. |

| I thought the tiger in the opening was the same, so I didn't expected her to be killed. It was just an animal, but she killed a family, so... well, a necessary kill for the villagers. |
