Sometimes if I'm really bored and looking for new series to watch
I have to believe that when things are bad I can change them

Only the people I notice a lot around the forums.
Then I sometimes check compatibility, and the shared list.
If our mean scores are close, I usually try to watch a anime the person rated 8-10

I go through lists of people who talk on these forums all the time if they seem to be interesting. In fact, i'm about to look at some who have posted in this thread right now...

I usually click the all shared-button instead of viewing the actual list. I do that pretty much with everyone whose profile I visit. It's often just a quick peek, though.

Same here. I like seeing what other people have rated the anime I've watched. I usually only look through their entire anime list if I'm in a thread that requires it or if we seem to have very similar taste.

I do the same as well, i don't mind to see which scores a user gave to a series i don't know, it's pointless.

Only rarely, I sometimes look at the shared manga/anime and our scores, but considering the lists themselves, there might have been like... 10 lists in total I've looked at so far. xD

Yes. If someone asks me for recommendation or I want to recommend something to someone, I check his list first.
I sometimes check the lists of people who have high compatibility with me to decide what to watch next. I click on some titles they scored 8 or above and then go and read their synopsis and maybe a review or two in order to make up my mind.

I just look at the anime in common and the ratings. If they have good taste that's simular to mine I might look to see if there's any anime I might like.

I go sometimes see the list of persons that makes review and recommendations. It can help to see if it's something that can fit my tastes

if someone asks for a recommendation I'll usually check their list to see what they tend to like.
and ofc on occasions I just check it to see the "compatibility" between our lists.

I actually like looking at people's lists, especially if there are comments. Sometimes I click at random people at the forums just to go look at their lists.

I see their shared anime first, if I see that their scores are using a distinct 1-10 scale similar to mine, then I take a look at their list to see what anime they consider to be great in comparison to the average.

I only check for compatibility changes with my friends and the shared lists.

What really puzzles me though is that 3814 people have viewed my list as of today even though I haven't watched that much anime. Is there a glitch with the system?

Sometimes. I randomly click profiles if something about their post/av/sig interests me and i'm curious. If I see a really high compatibility I may scroll through and see what they've watched.

Yes, though not so much these days. I used to look at other people's lists a lot, especially ones with comments/tags on them. Some of the best titles I've watched/read I found out about through looking at someone else's list. Nowadays I only tend to look at my friends' lists.

It's because you use tags, bots go through the list to check tags or something like that. So all the people who use tags get a lot more views(thousands, depending on how many words in the tags) than everybody else who doesn't.

Actually I do occasionally. If the list is that of an experienced viewer, then I'm more likely to skim through the list.

For the most part I look at my list and at times my friends list. I really don't check other's unless it's like a recommendation thread.

When someone has what I consider to be a "good taste" (subjectively, i.e. close to mine). Then I check for recommendations or some interesting insights/comments under tags.

I signed up to this site for the practicality of the list feature, not people, so seeing another person's list isn't something i'm very concerned with at all.

In short: No.

I check list of people who seems to have my taste, or sound smart and objective when talking about something, making me believe they know what they're talking about. If they know what they're talking about, whatever it is, then it makes me believe their list will be good for some reason.

Not everybody's I check the lists of people who have seen either around the same amount of anime as me - or more (preferably) because I only care about the opinions of people with a certain level of exposure.

Noobs are easy to please.

Yes because if they've watched the same animes as you and gave it a score close to your own it means they have good taste and if they have good taste it means they watch good anime and if they watch good anime - jackpot.

Only if the other person has either:
1. Really high compatability with myself
2. The person's anime taste is so bad you just have to point and laugh

I sometimes do, but I usually only use the "shared anime" feature because I like seeing other people's opinions on the shows I've seen.
