I guess because you like the OP or just aren't in the habit of skipping them.
And not just for a few episodes in a row...Has there ever been a series where you watched the OP every episode?

Curious to see which titles will be listed.

Fate/Zero. To The Beginning is just such a good song.

Actually I'll watch the opening of any anime as long as it has good music.
As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all.

Most of them. Hyouka, Black Rock Shooter, Pumpkin Scissors, Broken Blade, Another, Mawaru Penguindrum, Blue Exorcist, Kimi to Boku, Shiki, Death Note (first season anyway), Kuroko no Basket, Aquarion Evol, Sakimichi no Apollon, Natsuyuki Randezvous, C, Chihayafuru, Junjou Romantica, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, etc.

If the music is good and i can sing along, i'll watch any OP. It's one of the best parts for me, especially if it's nice to look at.

Cromarite High School and Sexy Commando. Something about them are just the perfect prelude for the crazy that is about to happen. I also don't skip the EDs for Cro High (SC doesn't have one). And I've seen Cromartie High at least 4 times, I stick in random DVDs whenever I'm bored.

Outlaw Star is another that I don't like to skip very often. I watched it on TV with the OP (and ED), so I just like hearing them. Makes the nostalgic experience complete for me.

Oh and Pokemon, part nostalgia, part that I can remove the rose colored glasses for the show itself and admit it's kinda sucky, but I can't do the same for the awesome OP (the English one a lot of us grew up with)

Almost every series I've watched.

I pretty much always watch the opening. It's rare that I skip it. That's not quite the case with the endings though. The endings I only watch about 60% of the time.

I know what you mean. I tend to watch the OP's all the way through on my DVDs or a stream if I watched it on TV in the past.
Like Cowboy Bebop and GitS:SAC. Though I still skip it sometimes...

Usually I'll just watch an opening once then I proceed to skip it every time after. I get really into the story when I marathon that I don't want to watch the same intro over and over.

Even if I like the OP, usually I just skip them when watching the anime. I'll listen more to the OP some other time, but not when watching the anime.

Uchuu Kyoudai is the only one I don't skip through every episode, recently.

Not for the song itself, but conjointly with the opening sequence. It's good for inducing a smile from me, once a week.

Most of them, they don't really take a lot of time. But for example with Cowboy Bebop I watched almost the whole series without opening and ending songs, because the rip didn't include them.

If the anime has:

Yoko Kanno
Yuki Kajiura
Taku Iwasaki

Never. I sometimes rewind just to listen to it again.

But then again, I do watch the anime through without reaching for the fast froward 98% of the time.

I have a habit of skipping them too. From memory the ones where I had a habit of watching them:

Fairy Tail Season 9
Mirai Nikki Season 1
FMA:B Season 1
Gintama Season 1
Maria Holic + Alive

While some of my favorites are in there, some are excluded as I didn't start loving them until later on.

I almost never watch openings/endings, only now and then to see how they are. I skip them even if i like the song, but in this case i download it immediately. It's not because i am in a hurry whenever i look at anime, simply i don't feel like it.
