Kuroko no Basket selling so high both in the manga and LN sides. Me is proud. Bakuman's last volume is pretty high still. And looking at Nurarihyon's numbers really baffles me as to why they would cancel its weekly publication and have it wrap up in NEXT. Another week would raise its numbers close to 250k which is a pretty decent sales numbers. Guess having good sales didn't exactly give it an immunity with it getting low votes in polls. Dammit WSJ. SAO vol1 is getting some sales again I see. Vol10 was just released 2 days ago so I'll have to wait next week for its figures. And I freaking need to read Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou. Them sales really surprises me. |

His work wasn't popular in Jump anyway so the editors decided to move Nura to Next for the final arc. I'm guessing that if a title has an established tankoubon sales record, but a weak magazine reader ranking, then moving it to a less competitive magazine doesn't hurt much; people buying the tankoubon volumes will likely continue to do so even if it switches magazines (especially people brought on by the anime, not by reading Jump), while freeing up page space in Jump itself for something new. Though granted, the lower visibility from not being in Jump could lower tankoubon sales in the long run I guess. But maybe not before the managka finishes? I can't claim to know anything about Nurarihyon specifically, having only watched a few episodes of the anime and never read the manga. In the case of Nurarihyon, it's given only 3 more chapters(albeit 50-60 pages) to wrap it up. Considering it still has some things left in its story to wrap up, I feel like it's not enough to do so. Hence why I said that it may have been cancelled despite its sales due to the reader polls. |

Hunter X Hunter also gets the same treatment due to its hiatuses. Shiibashi's wife also recently gave birth to a daughter so I guess he has to look after her too. |

But wow, Kuroko received a big boost in manga sales and may fetch more next week. |

Unless they seriously rush the pacing in S3 in order to fit the remainder of the manga in it (which I doubt), I find an S4 highly likely. |
