| The race with Kenta was finished in half an episode , like no any other. So far every race was AE86 being the cat until overtaking an opponent at some turn , I hope in all future seasons there is more variety. Glimpse of proffesional racing scene , at least something new! And is that a Skyline BNR32 ? |
| Good episode. I knew the whole time Takumi wasn't freaking daydreaming about Natsuki. If these dunderheads knew one thing about his character, they would have picked up he was thinking about Ryosuke. But ah well, it is what it is. These next few episodes are gonna get hot. I'm sad it's going to be over soon. I won't be able to watch another season for a while. |

| As expected the boy was no match for Takumi, weather isn't a problem for him, at least it isn't enough to give someone else an advantage. I also thought that it was sweet the way Mogi went out of her way to say hi, but the others at the station, including the boss, were as annoying as ever. I also loved the way Takumi washed the car with such care. And Takumi's worries weren't (just) about his race with Ryousuke after all, he's pondering what is beyond it, what racing will bring him, and if his father's friend is anything to go by, maybe official competitions are waiting for him, it would make his world bigger for sure, and make things more interesting, but let's see. |

| Kenta had itchy feet and that caused his defeat in the first place. Takumi taught him a lesson. Kenta was all talk and underestimated his rival by trying to use the general disadvantage (rain) as his own advantage against Takumi. As expected, Kenta failed and the race ended with Takumi's victory. Nice scene with washing AE86. |

| Kenta is all talk no gas but this sick fire beats is the shit night of fire is a banger sad they have to cut it off at the middle part damn that song is so good Instinctively knew why Itsuki had to go to the back cuz he's really that annoying but would like the boss to go more technical about why it affects tire traction but I think that's easier said than done, Is that the drift legend himself, not familiar with his voice but his name says it all. |
