I can't click on my Mangalist or on the Achievements or see any graphs.
Also there seems to be a script running in the background which is not responding and I get such an error

Ummm... what. Thanks for reporting.

edit: I reuploaded all files and it seems to work, but it freezes in Google Chrome. I didn't touch anything (I wasn't even home), so I have no idea what happened. >_>

Sorarin: the problem seems to only appear on your profile. I'm looking into it.

So should we throw suggestions for anime that seem to be missing from achievement lists here? If so, here's a list of titles you might want to consider adding to the slice of life category.

Fixed. Looks like some title from your list is completed in year '0007'; the script tried to render 2005+/-1 categories and hence the lag. Now we just ignore everything completed before XX-th century.
Additionally, I fixed another detail: if your completed titles spanned less than 1 year, the time line graph would display all 12 months from that year instead of just the period within boundary months. Whether it's a bug or not is a subject for discussion, but it certainly wasn't intended when I was coding this.

Waiting for fri to upload new revision and freshen your profile.

Touge, which isn't in the MAL database anymore, still shows up for Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou in the List of manga you could've overlooked.

Well, since we we seem to be going nowhere with achievements, let's begin with the roundabout way.

Mahou Shoujo that I have in my list, but aren't listed in achievement:

Also, I have plenty of mecha in my list, but since no achievement appears, I guess most of them are not included:

Gotta catch em all, yes.

In the episode count chart, 27-50 eps range probably should be 27-52, since that's a standard four-cour length.

This is going to be my first time on using MALgraph.

But when I tried, and wrote my username, ... nothing happened.
There was no loading icon, nothing... nothing happened for some reason?

Am I supposed to do something special, or something?

Is there a reason why the activity timeline won't display at all? The malappinfo XML seems to have the dates needed. Maybe I'm missing something?

have you added when you were watching a show when you added it to your list ?
there are 2 fields for that
Start date
Finish date
unless you have those filled activity timeline won't appear (atleast that's what I think )

Your mileage may vary about that being a bug or not, but on a profile of a friend who votes almost everything a 10:

I think the scale should be capped at 10, that "10.10" label looks really weird.

EDIT: Well, actually I think it would be best if those labels "snapped" to nearest sane values.

Hardly ever do we find someone who rates everything 10 so it is not a major problem o.0 he must bear with it or just use whole scale xD

My guess is that not everything mecha you've watched is on the achievement list. That's why we have a spearate thread for title suggestions!

MALgraph has been working for me for a while, but today I am suddenly getting a 404 error when I try to embed my score distribution chart on my profile. Any ideas? Or should I just wait it out and see if it works tomorrow?

have you tried re-exporting ?
or check the spelling maybe there was an error while the code was being generated ?

Yeah I tried re-exporting, I figured maybe the coding of MALgraph had changed or something, but I'm still getting the same error. The spelling and the structure of the code seems fine too, so I'm pretty sure that's not the problem. The error just came out of nowhere, I hadn't even been messing around with the code at all.

Edit - I tried embedding my manga stats and I got the same error.

Hey, what do you know, it works just fine now. I'm thinking that I had to wait 24 hours for it to fix itself.

I don't know what triggers it, but it seems to happen on a large scale from time to time. Maybe my server has some micro hiccups and fails to process data... This 404 error should fix itself after 24 hours (when your image is regenerated), but if you report it I just refresh yours manually. Try now.

You can choose one of the three types (anime/manga/anime&manga) and set individual colors already. The predefined schemes (blue, flame, matrix, etc.) all use the same syntax:

mal.oko.im/export/fri?type=3&bar1=00eecc05&bar2=00dd2200&line1=aaffdd00&line2=aaff0000&back=ffffffff&font1=20220700&font2=90220700&title=00220700&hue=45

type - graph type. 1 = anime, 2 = manga, 3 = anime and manga
bar1 - left/inner bar color
bar2 - right/outer bar color (bars' color will fade from bar1 to bar2)
line1 - left/inner line color (1px thick line between bars)
line2 - right/outer line color
back - background color
font1 - font color for digits
font2 - font color for percentage, 'mean:' and 'rated:'
title - font color for 'Anime' and 'Manga'
hue - hue shift for the small mg icon. 0..359 (default: 218 - blue)

Colors are in AARRGGBB format (alpha, red, green, blue). 00FF0000 is fully visible red, while FFFF0000 is invisible red (yeah).

I have changed the colors manually , but whenever I input the new image onto my profile it always stays as font I have choosen before on the site >.> , what must I do ??

fixed
thanks fri

My MALgraph profile ---> http://mal.oko.im/SaiAkuto174
My MyAnimeList profile ---> http://myanimelist.net/profile/SaiAkuto174

MALgraph doesn't find my MyAnimeList profile... This is the error message:

"User not found.
"SaiAkuto174"? Never heard that name.

Check the spelling, click the home tab any try again. You can do it!"

Help me please! ╚(•⌂•)╝

P.S.: The problem affects also my "About me" tab on my profile: the Score distribution tab doesn't work and shows me this:

wait, what?
edit: I see now, I've just encountered this error message when I tried to remove old cache. Looks like the server farted a bit, but it doesn't seem to be anything significant.

I don't know is it bug or not - but I can't get why I have 1 omitted title (Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai) in Mean score per decade chart. Help says that that happens "If there's no information about the publication date", but there's such information (and also in other profiles this title isn't omitted)...

my profile.

because finish date is not specified yet, that might be the cause, I think that all airing series are always as ommited but I am not sure myself

Nope, only starting date counts:
- I checked this for mean score of old shows.
- all 7 ongoing shows that I watch don't have finish date specified.

On the other hand I was wrong - I've rechecked with random 30 profiles - all of them who rated this show have it omitted.

The timeline script loops through your completed series, so it's not counted unless you've finished watching it. If the start date is not specified, the finish date is used instead.

I'm having a similar problem with two currently airing series: Kokoro Connect and Joshiraku. Both have beginning airing dates in their MAL entries including the year, so there isn't any reason I can figure out as to why they're listed as omitted and the other currently airing shows I'm watching weren't omitted.

my profile just for reference.

I'll look into that.

The problem with no related manga is that MAL's database is always being edited. I have to manually re-download entries which need an update, based on changes listed here: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=60908&show=1280 . It's a matter of a few minutes of work.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm just misunderstanding something, but my mecha achievement says I've watched 45 mecha anime, but if you take the google docs file from the achievement post and count the ones I've completed manually I get a total of 51.
The anime that are listed on the google doc, but don't show up on my achiement are
            {"id": 54,    "title": "Appleseed (Movie)"},
            {"id": 2969,    "title": "Appleseed Saga Ex Machina"},
            {"id": 493,    "title": "Armitage III Polymatrix"},
            {"id": 411,    "title": "Gun x Sword"},
            {"id": 218,    "title": "Martian Successor Nadesico"},
{"id": 219,    "title": "Martian Successor Nadesico: The Prince of Darkness"},

Some of them were just added to the google doc recently or to my completed list recently so I figured that might have something to do with it, but both nadesico and armitage have been on both lists for a while.

Fixed. It happens sometimes when MAL's API doesn't respond to queries for a while.
