| Wow, I'm looking forward to this arc! It seems to be a semi-serious one? Hijikata's past wasn't exactly happy as it was, and now there's even more tragedy D: Poor guy... But that makes him all the more admirable. I love seeing the characters pasts in Gintama; it never fails! |
| No doubt this will be a serious arc, though it was a bit hard to take Kondo's speech about Hijikata's past seriously when I'm busy laughing my head off at the idiots playing basketball for no reason. | Hijikata is one of my favourite characters, any arc or episode that focuses on him and the Shinsengumi just make me squeal with delight. Super excited for the next episode. <333 |
| Very good episode, now we know more about Toshi's story :D (more to come) Also, I laughed on cigarette name "Marlboro->Mayoboro" lol and when the guy from the Mimawarigumi exchanged phone address with Toshi, he said: "I don't have many friends.."; it remembered me "Haganai" xD .. |

| Im so anxious to see how this arc unfolds. and ill always be amazed at how Gintama can have you laughing hard at ridiculous comedy then extremely interested in the serious plot material within seconds without ruining the mood. |

| Loved this episode, I'm sure this arc will be epic. Sad to hear Toshi's background story but it does fit his character... I think it's very like him to try and help that useless guy, he's a nice person deep down after all :) I'm curious what role Gintoki will have in the arc though, I have no idea so far... |
