| Short rivalries when Kamina faced Viral in TTGL was pretty epic. I didn't like the romantic rivalry between Yoshida and Shana, since it was so obvious who was gonna win. o_O Ima have to go with L and Light as well. It's not like there's that much true rivalries to begin with. I don't want to count these romantic rivalries because they are usually harem and obvious. |

| Yamoto vs. Arima the ultimate rivalry. Light and L were both losers who needed to go outside a bit more and it was always going to be a win win situation with whomever came out on top because at least one of them would be gone. The best rivalry is one without a conclusion. |
