It pretty much needs a second season to see how things will be going forward now that the relations have been sorted out. A second season is also sort of hinted with them starting the second semester.

Of COURSE I need a second season! This is such a perfect show for more seasons.. It's all about the characters and how they interact and develop, rather than story :) They can have episodes about anything and it'll be wonderful, because the characters are just so lively and fun! More, more, more please! I beg for more seasons <3

Of course there should be a second season. The story hasn't been finished. There are still many things to explain regarding the other characters as well (most notably Yukimura).

There are a lot of fans and the studios know this.

I would love to see a second season of this anime. The last episode was the weakest of the series so far and seemed to set up for a second season but I don't know if anything has been s aid about a second season yet.

Second season definitely want all day :D.
I feel like it needs a second season just because of the gradual development between Yozura and Kodaka and Sena.
Besides this has been one of the best anime's this year so any more episodes and I'll be super happy :).

Yeah, I would want more backstory explanations with regards to Ms. Meat and a few of the other characters. It's a pretty generic show, but its arguably more entertaining than other lesser generic shows (i.e. Asura Crying, Rosario + Vampire, Akikan!, Princess Lover!). It doesn't set up for over-dramatization like YnS or M;Y and it has some comedial value at the very least.

Another season of combined Myself;Yourself, Kore wa Zombie, Baka no Test, Toradora, Yosuga no Sora, Suzumiya Haruhi, C3+Omamori Himari and Genshiken isn't that bad I suppose.

Providing we get a resolution between Yozora and Sena as well as more developments on both Rika and Yukimura (which people are saying was quite interesting in the LN) i would love a second season.

I would also like a second season but i would prefer to wait for the novels to end....Then they could make the story more accurate and finally we would all know with who Taka would end

i don't think that second season is necessary. i think that OVA or special as 13th ep would do the trick.
All i missed was the romance which supposed to be included but there wasn't almost any romance, it was more comedy, friendship, harem...
So i expect two possible outcomes or their combination. They realize and say it clearly that they all have each others as friends and other outcome is confession or date or something that would put Kodaka closer to something more then friendship with one of the girls.

That's why i can't pick any of your 2 choices .

( Currently interested in OP MC genre. Recommendations are welcomed, preferable those yet not on my list )

ITT: Anime fans that don't understand how anime works.

Lol, "Filler" in Harem anime...

Do you guys that think there was too much "Filler" understand that harem anime is NOT supposed to focus on the plot but rather the characters?

For example the pool episode between Sena and Kodaka may not deliver a lot of "Plot", but it gives us something much more important in a series such as this, it's called DEVELOPMENT!

Anyways, anyone that understands anime nowadays, knows that most anime sequels have a DIRECT correlation with DVD/BD sales.

If Boku wa Tamodachi has good sales (Which I believe it will), then they have a decent chance at a sequel.

As for my personal beliefs, YES, I WANT SEASON 2 NOW!

I'd support a new series.
Loved this series - the plot is good, the characters are great and it's one of the best harem's I have ever seen.
Good harem IMO because it wasn't heavy on the typical; bipolar girls + doormat lead (also, more than one male's present).

It would be nice to view more about the character's backgrounds.
Wouldn't mind seeing more of Sena's dad too.

i really hope for a second season, allthough i dont see much hope for it right now. Seeing that even such amazing harem shows as Seitokai no Ichizon only got one season i doubt we really can look forward to more of haganai. But well, i hope im wrong and the sales are good enough for a second one
