| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Very rough synopsis: Given that the latest voting as passed the 95% attendance rate, the association has now shortlisted the top 16 candidates for the next round of voting. On the other hand, Illumi has started his move in an attempt to assassinate Aruka, who is being escorted by Killua and the bodyguards. Their car got rolled down the hills after being driven off the edge by Illumi's controlled truck drivers, and are running away from him and Hisoka. There is some tension between Killua and the bodyguards he is not close with (those under Silva and not his grandfather). Killua became very defensive when one of the bodyguards said that they are not Killua's enemy, and under Silva's instruction they also have the duty to bring him back home safely - as long as they don't include Aruka's name in their agenda Killua would treat them as his enemy as well. |
| OMFG, this chapter was so awsome! I didn't care for the stuff with the Hunter Election but after that shit got real! This is the beginning of something epic! The part where Killua tells Illumi he will beat him at his own game and the Illumi says let the games begin was so awsome! I also loved how Hisoka is working as a "double-agent" so to speak. He purposely pissed off Illumi so that Killua could know where they were. He obviously wants Gon back to normal so he can eventually get his fight with him and he realizes that he needs Killua's help with that. This is going to get so awsome, Hisoka tracking down the butlers and Illumi trying to kill Alluka while Killua tries to protect her. Can't wait for more! This arc is so awsome! |
| DAMN IT. I honestly thought I had a few more pages of the chapter left until it was over but it got finished too soon. That's how you know I'm enjoying this shit. This chapter reminded me of Yu Yu Hakusho when Yusuke was chasing Kuwabara on a bike and a truck exploded on the road then he went to fight a guy named sniper in the woods. Loving this arc so far(hope the english translation can come faster but I'm grateful). My guess is that Hisoka may probably make a truce with Killua or something in order to save Gon secretly against Illumi's will. Loved how Hisoka gave away Illumi's position. 5 stars for Kanmuru Killua. Can't wait till next week!!! |

| I loved this chapter! I'm really looking forward to how this arc goes, and I'm hoping we get a lot of crazy political-ish stuff happening with the hunter election thingy, since...I guess I like convoluted political intrigue. I have high hopes for how the whole election things gonna go! And it looks like Killua's gonna have a tough time getting Alluka to Gon! The familial love between Killua and Alluka is so strong it brings a tear to my eye. :'D |

| LMAO. Yeah I don't get what was so bad about the chimera ant arc. It was my favorite so far. Don't tell me you guys didn't think it was genius how Knuckle fought Yupi and almost defeated him but had to take pot clean off of him last minute. That was awesome. I also liked the development as well as the fights. I guess people feel trolled because they expected Gon or someone to kill the king and have an epic battle with him or something while it ended with Gon only beating a lieutenant and the king dying from poison. HxH isn't that generic of a shounen or predictable so a lot of people's expectations for a beast ending wasn't met I guess. I know everyone has their opinion and all but numbers don't lie. Those volumes got best sellers in Japan. |

| The stuff Togashi is producing right now is amazing. As far as the Chimera Arc goes, I don't think it was the best arc but it wasn't horrible. I liked Greed Island more but that's just my opinion. The reason I didn't like the Chimera arc as much as Greed Island was because Gon and Killua kinda distanced themselves more and seemed like their friendship took a few hits, not only that but Gon was kind of a jerk to Killua in parts that I felt were the low points of the arc. The plus sides to the arc were some great fights and Meryem the Ant King was awsome. That's just my opinion though. |

HxH introduced magical beasts since chapter one (the fish, the navigators, the apes, spider-eagles, ugly birds, weird butterflies, exploding mushrooms, strawberry tortoise etc... in fact this is the closest arc to the examination arc so yea...there is nothing to dislike about the series unless it's the hiatus butthurtness, or simply this whole manga isn't for you.. like the other guy said, Bleach suits you better I don't mind you disliking it because it was too complicated for you, but clearly by typing it on every thread, you're trying to force your opinion on others and by that you are not really respecting other people's opinions as people like you would preach. | This chapter reminded me very much of Yusuke being chased by Sniper's tanker truck. I'm particularly glad to know that Togashi's not afraid to create something similar between his series (because character dropping totally hasn't happened before and I totally wasn't looking at the dolls funny for anyone hiding out). Not my favorite chapter by far, but got the Hisoka/Illumi going and started up the action. Can't wait for next week. xxx Guns47 said: This is not happening. | I don't mind being the odd one out. ;) I have actually felt quite sorry for Illumi since he came in way back, especially since we got to see the parents come across as the 'ditsy mum' and 'cool dad' whilst he holds a certian level of equal parental responsability. |

| This is pretty good stuff, it's cool that the Zoldyck family are very much center stage in this arc and it actually makes me appreciate that short arc from early in the series more, which was imo the low point of the series. Hisoka tricking Illumi was great, btw. As was his spiel about "having a lot of toys" with a lot of the more powerful characters (that he knows of) being shown as dolls. |

| I'm really curious what a "Cute Hunter" does. Also, gotta love the Hisoka and Illumi relationship. When reading this arc straight after Chimera Ant, the pacing feels really fast. As much as I loved that, it's good to have some speed and constant movement again. |
