| The only dub I prefer is DBZ, and thats because I grew up with those voices, anything else I can't stand the dub voices. |

| DragonBall Z (and its various other iterations) is the only anime where I've seen both the dub and the sub, and since I originally watched the dub, subbed is just weird. I imagine that Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! would be weird for me subbed, too, since I'm so used to those being dubbed. I once tried to find Black Lagoon specifically dubbed, since I saw a montage on YouTube of how often the F-word is used and thought it was funny. But I couldn't find it dubbed. That's the only time where I've intentionally tried to watch a dub over a sub. Other than that, after having watched many subbed animes now, I tend to find that dubbed animes seem like a joke to me. I don't know why, but seeing anime matched up with English voices now just seems to be awful and like the voice actors are somehow not taking it seriously. |

For most semi-recent anime, there's not that much actual difference in quality between the English and Japanese dubs; people just suffer from "first exposure bias." Generator Gawl -- was a lame show originally, dub salvaged things a bit. Nerima Daikon Brothers -- great singing, rhyming song lyrics. Orphen -- another lame show improved by better writing. Ghost Stories -- practically a parody dub, almost never fails to entertain. E's Otherwise -- yet another middling show improved by a better script. Chrono Crusade -- uses 1920s American slang. Shuffle! -- female characters were less annoying. Gantz -- added swearing is definitely more appropriate here. Yumeria -- perhaps unfair to count this one, but the (official) subtitle scripts were lousy, and the fansubs suffered from mistakes and overliteral writing. Baccano -- American setting, accents, slang, etc. Desert Punk -- the face masks worn by most characters allowed Eric Vale and Funi to get away with a lot of added humor, since they didn't have to worry about lip flaps. Solty Rei -- either Carrie Savage IS Solty, or Solty simply is Carrie Savage. Rest of the cast is great too, and the writing is a major improvement. Azumanga Daioh -- Tomoko Kaneda never fails to be freaking annoying in any role she's in, so Jessica Boone's Chiyo wins by default. |
| shows like cromartie igh school, texhnolyze, trinity blood, bebop (of course), FMA (duh), death note (again, duh), my bride is a mermaid, and hetalia axis powers are some of the shows that come to mind. most other shows i tend to prefer both languages, ie i'm neutral and don't care. |

| Not that i can think of. I did watch some dub to begin with , although not because i preferred the voices, just took a while to get used to reading subs. Would never go back to dub. |

| The only dub I actually prefer over original language is the Full Metal Alchemist series, and only because I'm a huge fan of Kugimiya Rie's tsundere voicework, and since she does Alphonse's voice, it gets too distracting for me to watch. Bebop, Big O, Kaze no Stigma, School Rumble and Soul Eater all have admirable dubs, though. |

| Hellsing- They actually have British accents, that's pretty cool. Death Note- They just did a great job, not that the sub is bad. Fruits Basket- Yuki was played by a girl, that was weird, plus I love Laura Bailey. Samurai Champloo- Like Death Note, just really well done. Soul Eater- All the characters sound pretty professional, I do prefer some of the Japanese voices though. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu- See Death Note. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann- I'm actually split on this one, combination of Death Note and Soul Eater description. Yu Yu Hakusho- Voices matched perfectly, childhood memories, original dialogue is simple shounen stuff, dub at least makes it funny. Ghost Stories- Extremely good for the lulz. |

| Oh I also liked Gundam Seed / Destiny in English dub. Well basically all the mainstream Animes that aired on TV. Though it is probably because I just got used to it... xD |

| Since I'm German, I'm screwed when it comes to dubs (seriously, they all sound the same...horrible). Exception are the Ghibli movies. Princess Mononoke is the only anime where I actually like the dubbed version more. |
| Any series where a dub is avaliable, really. I a dub person (well, anime dubs, at least), and I rarely find a dub that I don't like. Not that I hate subs, though. I watch subs all the time (especially newer series, of course), and there are times when I prefer the sub over dub, and times when I find a really bad dub. But like I said, the majority of dubs these days I enjoy. Even if the dub's not as good as the Japanese dub, if it's at least decent enough, I stick with that (although that only occur when I rewatch a series in dub.) |

| To be fair, I catch a lot of stuff before the dubs come out and don't re-watch too much stuff, but here's a few preferances: - Rurouni Kenshin (greatly prefer) - School Rumble - Baccano (greatly prefer) - Dragonball/Z - FMA/Brotherhood (I didn't like Alphonse's voice in Brotherhood) Still, I'll watch whatever is avalible. |

But here's a different one for you. I fucking hate the English dub of Dragonball Z. Seeing all of you say that you prefer it in English makes me facepalm. However, I really like the Mexican Spanish dub and the German dub of DBZ. Look them up, they're badass. |

| No. Some of the Miyazaki dubs are pretty exceptional, and I will admit that the voice acting in those are just as good. However, even in those cases, I usually watch the subbed version. If I have the option, I always watch subbed. And in fact, if I don't have the option, I will probably choose not to watch. |
