 According to Young Animal magazine, the first film of the Berserk Movie series will be premiered in January 2012. | ehhhhhhh...i'm not as excited as i was before. while movies are nice, i was hoping for another weekly tv series...a reboot like FMA had. on the other hand, because its movies, that means some of the more graphic elements of the manga can be included, and thats always a plus. |

| This will rock your face. The 80s Berserk was okay but it really was sloppy around the edges. Revisiting the epic base storyline will revitalize it and really blow us away.... like others though I'm really itching to see some of the latter battles animated too. I'm doing my best to try to keep it in my pants. Give us Puck. Give us the brilliant badass excellence that is Berserk. It will be Glorious my comrades. |

| An endless series of movie adaptations of an endless manga. Fitting, really. I'd have preferred the Helling Ultimate OVA treatment for time and faithfulness purposes. The movies will most likely have years in-between them and if they ever hope to catch-up with the manga then they'll have to rush through/ignore certain parts. I'd be fine with the first 3.5 volumes getting skipped entirely, but rushing through the best part of Berserk - which the TV series already covered and may factor in any decision on faithfulness - would ruin it. Hopefully, the Wyald fight gets included in anime form, this time around. It'd be epic. And the conivction arc is full of fights perfect for the move treatment. |
