| Glad Sai's brother finally got to see the picture. I don't know if it'll work for all of them, but if each character completes some unfinished business, maybe they'll return to their Heaven or Hell. |

| Nice chapter I guess, mainly cause I did find the puppet battle and Deidara's crazy shenanigans amusing. I know most people are gonna like the emotional thing about unbinding Sai's brothers soul just cause he saw the pic, but its kind of a cop out, I mean is this foreshadowing to the other zombies, is Asuma gonna 'die' when he sees his son or Itachi when.......eh cant think of a good example, considering the mess Sasuke is. |
| The thing with Sai's brother is definitely going to piss off alot of people. Even I had a problem with it and I'm always positive and optimistic when it comes to Naruto. Hater's are going to have a field day. Anyways it was nice to see actual strategy and deception used to capture Sasori and Deidara. Rather than just attacking without a plan in mind. Now we just need to wait and see what happens with that ressurected mist ninja. |

| Sucks about Sasori though. I don't like that the lil puppet user thinks he's surpassed the big dog like that. The only reason they were able to take down Sasori is becasue he's a puppet technique user without any of his strongest pupperts (i.e. the Scorpion shell he hides in, 100 puppet warriors, former kazekage puppet, or his own puppet body). Beating him at this point without any real weapons to use makes him useless and pointless in this fight. |

| hmm i know its already mentioned here, but the idea of 'releasing' one's soul by fulfilling something could possibly work, though i dont know how the itachi is going to react upon seeing sasugay and his bromance with naruto, and man i cant wait to see nagato in action |
| Like other people said, its nice to see Sai's brother and to see Sai have some emotion for once. On the other hand, I'm kinda thrilled to see Kankuro beat Sasori. :D |

Yeah I saw that straight away, it really doesn't make that much sense... His soul was bound by the talisman, I would've thought that only Kabuto / destroying said talisman would work. Other than that, I'm quite saddened by remembering Sai was meant to replace Sasuke, we've had such little development for him so far and he really doesn't feel like part of the team, saying that, they haven't really been a "team" for a long time. |

| Again, a cool fight but a lame conclusion. Nah, just kidding, the only lame part was the soul release of Sai's brother. It was good that they captured both Deidara and Sasori but I wonder what they'll do with them meanwhile. Though this will cause more rage from the people reading here. Well, if this fulfilling the soul to release them is applied well then it wouldn't be so bad. Just don't let all of them fulfill their soul to release them, Kishi. |

| That was...an unexpectedly good chapter? Didn't expect that after the latest events. It's great to see Sai get enraged, but it's even better to see Kankuro pawning Sasori. Good fights in this chapter, and it's great that a fight was wrapped in just a chapter. We'll need such pacing with all that's in store for us. But if the quality is that good, no problem for me. Although I'd rather not see any more soul releasing. That's way too cheap. |

But wow, man, Sai's facial expression right there proves how much he changed from when he was first introduced. He's ENRAGED with emotion now!!! And it's funny how Kishimoto drew his face that way because in his more recent Naruto color illustration, he made brief commentary about one of his colored drawings from I think chapter 380 and that the weird, sketchy, realistic drawing style was the way he use to draw in his college days. Sai's facial expression slightly remind me of that. And I gotta give props to Omoi getting over his nervous anxiety, or at least getting over it enough in time to battle (not that I've experienced war, but trust me when I say getting over any anxiety ain't easy, especially if you're enemies are pretty much, well, immortal). Though I'll admit, I wasn't quite sure what one of the ninja's meant when he said Deidara's techniques are deactivated with lightning chakra. But then it hit me about the cycle of the five elements and that lightning is weak against wind nature while strong agains earth nature. I can tell that when this volume comes out in to the first 10 chapters of nothing but the 4th Ninja War, I'm REALLY gonna want to buy that volume. And the fact Kishimoto is making a war surprisingly doesn't sacrifice Kishimoto's artwork too much. |

He's also able to give out patronizing lectures while kicking your ass too. How cheesy. It all seems too convenient, and i don't really buy it. Fuck Kankuro.. i want Temari(x Shika =] ) instead! Her power should be awesome in this war. One wave and the whole forest is gone already.. and that was before she powered up or anything either. I shudder to think of what she could do now. |

I think you mean scout group as in the sensory group, which Ao is the leader of. And by the way, Kankuro did take out both Sakon and Ukon of the Sound four while also saving Kiba. |

| It was okay. After this chapter the Ambush team seemed quite talented. The Shin part was a little bit cheesy. Deidara and Sasori seemed very weak because Sasori didn't had his puppets to rely on. |

| On one hand, I enjoyed the tactics and teamwork in this chapter. It's always nice to see a combination of techniques and not just POWER BLASTS defeating an enemy. On the other hand, it's really lame that Kishi had to EXPLAIN so many of the moves they were doing. They should've been shown with art, not words, since this is a fight. He should've spent more panels on this and drawn it out for two chapters. But I guess in real-time this was a really quick battle and many characters only realize what's happened after it's happened. Sai's brother was a really bland character, but I didn't expect anything else. |
| Tbh I expected more from this chapter and overall for this arc. When did Kankurou became so powerfull he just defeats akatsuki like they are some weaklings lol. And Sai brother drama ugh " I seen your picture and now im free " WTF 3/5 just because Kankurou was badass but dunno where that come from lol |

Deidara was just a team effort though. |
| 1. Another apathy-spreading chapter just like a few others before. 2. SasukeItachiBrothersRedux Fight happens and SasukeItachiBrothersRedux2 fight happens. We get more anvils on how everyone in the good side are purely good and powerful and care about family and peace. 3. Akatsuki Fodder revived as Zombie Fodder is even more fodderized than their original appearances. 4. End of chapter. More anvils of shonen logic and bashing our head with ideals..meh. Seriously, Naruto manga now feels like that cheap butter advert on tv - you look at it with apathy, it ends and you go "oh well, lets continue watching the show". Its clear that Kishi lost any sort of joy he ever had writing this stuff. 3/5 |

| This chapter was pretty good. I liked the team dynamics, and Deidara was his usual crazy self. I did roll my eyes when Sai's bro was freed because of the picture, but I guess it could have been a lot worse. It makes me wonder what will free the others...hopefully not something as cheesy XD |

| I agree the Sai's brother soul release thing was gay, but the rest of the fight was pretty good and I have high hopes for this arc overall. I would give this chapter a 4 out of 5. |

While that does not excuse for the crappy writing style, millions of sasuke/naruto/itachi/sakura rehashes and the anvil-dropping of shonen ideals, for all that was worth, it actually looked like Kishi is disillusioned into believing on what he was writing. Like he sits down and decides to draw something that preaches peace and friendship and stuff... Nowadays its like he sits down, writes whatever comes first to mind to get done with it and then forgets the manga even existed. The inner outlook of "omg i am the most awesome manga writer ever and I am so talented" turned into "uhhhhhhhhh. lets fill those 17 pages with something and go get my paycheck....maybe." |
