| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I actually liked the episode a lot. It was a lot of fun to watch, but what was great about the episode was the development given to both Mashiro, Takagi, and especially, Mashiro's uncle and his letters that he wrote to his first love. All the background info on Mashiro's uncle (and Miho's mom) did help paint a better picture of all the characters in general, and was pretty well done. The brief introduction to Mashiro's real father (I'm assuming his parents divorced), as well as the inclusion of Mashiro's uncle's "message" to Miho's mom, were nice final touches added into the episode. | So Takagi like Dragonball the best. I like how they refer to real mangas. This way are the characters much more likeable. Hah, and another Death Note joke :D They make sure to make you know that they're the same authors. This ep was ok, but really nothing special. Lots of talking. Need some action in next ep. |

Same authors as death note = I'm expecting a lot more death note jokes xP Takagi has good taste in manga; Dragonball is a classic :D |

| another very good episode. i liked it how azuki's mom turned out to be the one his uncle fell in love with. while it might look as if its revolving around too many coincidences, but i still found it amazingly interesting. particularly now that azuki's mom knows who azuki likes and she kinda approved it the way she showed her affection towards the two boys. she doesn't know though, azuki is already been proposed, not even in her wildest imagination she could think it happened (hell i was taken by surprise at that moment in episode 1), what they couldn't do, the young ones already took a step towards their future. <3 |

| Typical that Inoue Kikuko would voice Azuki's mother. The conversation between Saiko and his father was really good. This coincidence relationship may be something out of a manga but it's a really good twist and addition to the story. And now they'll start making manga. I forgot about the next things that will happen since it was a long time that I read this but I'm getting excited for the next episodes. Hope we can see the rest of the cast like Eiji and Hattori. |

No they didn't divorce. You can see his mother cleaning the table with same clothes she wore at eps 2. Even you can see it's Mashiro house at begininng of eps 3 and when Mashiro calling his father |

| They finally showed a bit of his father, that was nice. And WOW Miho's mom is something else. Mashiro's uncle really missed out. How sad I also like how they refer to real mangas. Makes it alot easier to relate. Ashita no Joe is really good. All the references to death note are welcomed :) |

| Great episode. I'm a sucker for laid back episodes like these where two friends converse with some nice banter. The part where Takagi knew Mihiaru's schedule made me laugh. Like he said he just observes things from the back of the classroom lol. |

| My expectations when I started watching this were low since most hyped manga adaptations always fails when it becomes an anime but I'm surprised I'm actually enjoying this. Now, I need to resist the urge to read the manga so I have something to look forward and anticipate every week. |

| I was pumped the whole episode even though it was so relaxed. It it the horror when you realize you have become a fan and what actually is happening doesn't matter much. Still not my favorite of the season though! Will have to wait a while to decide which is. I think the, long term unspoken love theme works a lot better when... It all takes place in one episode. You don't have to sit through a whole season cringing at the speed; I hope this can relate somewhat to Azusa. Most likely not but at least we got other things going for us. I thought the part from reading the letters till the end was purely fabulous. It was nice to see his 'first phone conversation' with his dad. Apparently i am missing out for not reading ashita no Joe? XD |

| That was a great episode. But I don't understand why people keep on saying that it didn't have enough action. What kind of action do you expect from a show about people drawing manga? This is not Death Note; there are no supernatural things going on. There is going to be a lot of dialogue because how fun can watching someone draw be? This episode develops characters, provides background, and progresses the plot. It would be really silly pacing for it to jump directly into writing manga. |
