I was really depressed upon finishing Azumanga Daioh. It was the end of high school, and they all had to go their separate ways. At that time, I just finished up middle school, and it just felt so empty. TT - TT

I guess I'd have to say Azumanga Daioh; I've got no idea why, but the ending just left me feeling kinda sad, but in a good way. Another would have to be NHK ni Yokoso, just because it had an awesome ending.

DEFINITELY azumanga daioh. i couldn't even watch the last episode for the longest time cuz i didn't want it to end. i seriously watched episode 25..and then delayed a few weeks before watching the last episode. i didn't wanna face the music.

another one i was really sad about finishing..was school rumble. after the first season, after the second season..and (before) and after the "third season" episodes. there was so much time between each season and i just couldn't bear to see it end. i read the manga, and it was nice, but sadly the end didn't satisfy me either.

Juuni Kokuki, oh my god, being 44 episodes I felt this had potential and REALLY deserved more than 44 episodes, it had everything, yes some people may have disliked the lengthy dialogues, but that's politics, can't be war without politics (I'm aware of that statement isn't 100% correct.)

I have rewatched that show about five times now, and each time I feel a void in my soul. But then again I'm kind of grateful they just ended it instead of going down the road of fillers. They stopped because the novels themselves end on this awful cliffhanger and there wasn't enough material to warrant more of the anime I suppose. I still hold up some hope that they'll continue it (it's not going to happen, especially with the novels being written at a snail's pace)

My heart broke when I finished Skip Beat and realized that was all the anime I could expect. I prefer anime to manga, just because, so it bothers me that I have to turn to the manga to find out what happens next.

I'm not done with it yet, but I can tell when I finish Kyo Kara Maou there will be a deep hole where my heart once was. Same goes for if Gintama ever ends (god forbid. I hope to be a wrinkly old lady still watching that show)

Had to edit this. I just finished Kyo Kara Maou and yes, there is a void. I'm going to go cry now.

Itazura na Kiss. Up to episode 24 it'd been fine, but the final episode felt as if the creators were saying "and they had many more adventures together but we're not showing them, nyuk nyuk".

That of KareKano was in the same vein, except in *that* case at least the manga continued past it, up to a more appropiate ending.
No problem is insoluble in all conceivable circumstances.

D. Gray Man it's not over, the manga author got something on her wrist so, both the manga and the anime, are like in a hold-on state.

Touradora!, Ouran High School Host Club and Junjou Romantica: they're all so funny and cute that you just don't want it to end ^^

Soul Eater: It kind of pissed me of that at the end of the story they putted some shocking new that you stay like "wth?! I would never had guessed that o.o" and then the series ends -.- they should have gone further on that subject :'( And also because I liked the story so much an it was so funny that you can't get tired of it x)

Samurai Champloo: Why did it had to end... WHY?! It was such a good story.. and the fact that it had an open ending just makes you begging for more.
Who are you to say that you don't believe in Santa?

Death Note I wouldn't say I was THAT sad because the whole time I was shouting "Light, you stupid fool, you should have....instead of...."

Definitely Yu Yu Hakusho, without question. If Naruto had ended when it should've (around ep 143), it might've given YYH some competition, but as it was, I couldn't wait to be done with all that filler.

Bleach will probably top YYH though.

Recently I'd have to say Higashi no Eden and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Higashi no Eden had such a captivating story that when it finally came to an end (in terms of episodes, not actual story) I found myself not only wanting more, but also feeling a bit sad that I didn't HAVE more.

Gurren Lagann is such an epic anime that it'd almost be odd if you weren't sad that it ended. It's really nothing new in terms of concept or characters, but it's executed so well and the characters are so vibrant that you can't help but want it to go on after you've finished it.
The first time I came to the forums on this site I thought to myself: "All right! This is like 4chan without the trolls-- well, it's like 4chan."

Toradora for ending like that! Although the title itself is a massive spoiler and this was bound to happen, it was too sudden for me and I rated 9/10 instead of 10/10. :P Suck on that !

Same for Yakitate!! Japan, it ended so suddenly.
