| What are your top ten favorite NON-Anime animated characters? Such as Indie, Cartoons, & maybe even stop motion etc.(must be from an animation of some kind) Write down the characters you like with the movie/series they're from and why you like them. It doesn't matter how long your descriptions are, would like to read them all. My 10 animated characters 1. Sevika - Arcane 2021: One of the most badass female animated characters ever, she's willing to get down in a good brawl. 2. Maleficent - Sleeping Beauty 1959: She uses sorcery from Hell, has some awesome theme music & she can turn into a dragon. 3. Professor Screweyes - We're Back: A Dinosaur's Story 1993: Uses fear as a form of entertainment, also reminds me of Mr Dark from Something Wicked this Way Comes. 4. Iron Giant - Iron Giant 1999: A giant robot sent to destroy earth but it's memory is damaged and becomes good instead. 5. Daffy Duck - Looney Tunes 1930-1969: No other looney tune character made me laugh quite like the duck. 6. The Pirate Captain - The Pirates Band of Misfists 2012: A captain that wants to be famous, but learns the value of his crew instead. 7. Mollymauk Tealeaf - The Mighty Nein 2025: No matter his hardships he stays positive, and always tries to spread positivity. 8. General Grievous - Star Wars: Clone Wars 2003: Most threatening and dangerous depiction of a Star Wars Villain. 9. Coop - Megas XLR 2004: Might put is needs about saving the world, & causes untold amounts of collateral damage but hes a skillful robot pilot. Isn't worried about his looks, likes having a fun time, and saves the world countless times. 10. Pomni - Digital Circus 2023: Good design, very expressive face animations & tries to be considerate to others. |

| @MinakoBestGirl You seem to be a fan of Teen Titans, I still remember that horror episode with Raven good stuff. Definitely need to re-watch the series. Oh the 90s Batman cartoon Harley Quinn, seems to be her first animated appearance had no idea. Ed is a good pick I'll always remember his butter toast line, Rolf interesting pick I vaguely remember him. If someone said name a fictional bartender think I'd only be able to name Moe, any other ones must of been forgettable. Really respect that Dee Dee pick, she kind of has that Roadrunner energy. Utonium wish I remembered more about him, only recall the Mayors voice. Cool to see your a fan of those classic Cartoon Network shows. Thanks for Posting. |

| @ryan77999 Man Avatar characters are really shining on this thread, only know a little bit of Toph's blind jokes and Iroh being the best character in that series. How does Squidward's rival Squillium compare? Plankton is really good at roasting other sea creatures, really love his version of the F.U.N. song. Hearing Heinz say Perry the Platypus on repeat when I saw what he looked like again. Moe the only bartender I can think of. Unfortunately I didn't have cable at the time when Stanley Pines, Soos, & Wendy were appearing in their respective shows. Thanks for listing them. |

| Oh that's a great topic! I also will only count western games I played. It's just hard to make a list, so my top 10 won't be ranked / I don't try to rank it. - Asami (Avatar - The Legend of Korra) - I really love this girl, her story, personality and her appearance. She became one of my all time favorites. - Kyoshi (Avatar franchise) - That might be a bit cheating, because I mainly refer to Kyoshi in the novels. - Jaheira (Baldur's Gate 1-3) - I played the whole trilogy now and I love to see her whole story. She's the embodiment of hard shell, soft core and such a mother lioness towards people she cares for. - Ciri (The Witcher 3) - Can't wait to see our Ciri as the protagonist of the new game! - Gustave (Clair Obscur) - Great to see a male protagonist, who's not your emotionally stunted gruff guy. I just feel so comfortable playing him and have so much empathy for him. I'm not through the game yet, so... - Maelle (Clair Obscur) - As I said, I'm not through yet, but I really like her. - Lune (Clair Obscur) - Same goes for Lune. - Leliana (Dragon Age Origin) - I just played / part of it watched let's plays the whole series last year and she stayed in my memory the most. Really like her. - Mel (Arcane) - She's really interesting, I have a lot of empathy for her story and she looks very beautiful. Well you named 10+
First time I've heard of Hekapoo, where did you watch Star vs The Forces of Evil? Kind of reminds of the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
Really like the whole sorceress feel Eda gives off, also the animation reminds of Over the Garden Wall.
Patrick Star Pre-First Movie? Really like his ugly barnacle story.
I've been meaning to watch Avatar the Last Airbender in its entirety, was never home when it was on TV. But I remember liking the old earth bender guy.
We talking Baloo the bear? Haven't seen that movie in two decades, I still remember the bear necessities. Nice Pick
Dang Homer and Hank sharing a spot, who's going to win that death match?
Wow you remember all of Eddy's quotes? I only remember Ed saying butter toast.
Rocko's world its been too long, what is happy Mikey from, pepper as in Tony's wife...?

| Great question! I've never really thought about favorites before, but if I had to name some of them, I'd say: - Mordecai (Regular Show). Realll funny dude. I thought he Cracked decent jokes and one-liners. Goes through relatable shit as a working adult. - Huey Freeman (The Boondocks). I admired how knowledgeable he is about politics and society when people around him didn't appear to be. - Double D (Ed Edd n' Eddy). I thought he was the most sane Ed out of the three Eds. He's pretty good as the comedic straight man. - Leonardo (TMNT). Leader of the turtles, and I like how he fights with katana swords. I liked how he faces his concerns of being a leader/older sibling. - Samantha (Totally Spies). She has a leadership role and a spy in the show. She's very smart with getting out of sticky situations. - Mr. Wolf (Bad Guys films). Reminds me of George Clooney in the Ocean movies. Charismatic and witty. - Venom (from the Marvel movies). I think the movies were supposed to be serious, but his character made them hilarious. Chaotic too. Liked how he gradually grew fond of Eddie. |

| @Slayers363 No, I don't like live-action at all. Ninja Turtles stay much better in animation style. For example, TMNT 2003 or Nickelodeon TMNT 2012, they were awesome😎. Actually, we have some Russian animated series but... mhm... It's all low-quality hell, I'd better never watch then come back there again👀👀. |

| @Shishio-kun That Catillac Cats looks so retro! Thought Strawberry Shortcake was only dolls not a whole TV series, never knew. Great pick on Death Wolf, I wasn't expecting such a cool character from a Puss n Boots movie he was a good antagonist. | @Tressym These Avatar characters must be the greatest ever, a series many are pulling characters from on this thread. Jaheira, unfortunately missed out on the Baldur's Gate series, only Baldur's Gate I've played was the Dark Alliance games RIP 3. Ciri, not a Witcher person by any means but I'm all for badass female characters she looks the type. Gustave, watched my friend play a bit of that game that character seems to be a believable Male Protagonist, many are not. The fact you got three characters from Clair Obscur must mean the game is somewhat awesome. This Leliana girl is really giving me Xena vibes, looks like a real badass. Never played the Dragon Age games due to my Skyrim addiction at the time. Ah yes Mel, she pulled off the funniest thing I've seen in Arcane that bullet ricochet had me laughing even replayed it a few times. She has my respect. Never found the path, is Nenio like a druid or something? Wow that's a giant honorable mentions List. Aw hell yeah you like the Critical Roll stuff, just finished both Vox & Nein recently; really good stuff waiting for more is going to be hard. Aside from that only familiar with the Arcane and Disney stuff. Mulan is great overcoming her limitations through perseverance & brains, admirable. Thank you for posting. |

I don't think I've ever given that a thought. Lemme think about it for a few minutes
1. Jack - Samurai Jack
2. Bugs Bunny - Loony Tunes
3. Courage - Courage The Cowardly Dog
4. Woody - Toy Story
5. Grunkle Stan - Gravity Falls
6. Goofy - Goof Troop/Goofy Movie/Disney shorts
7. Scrooge McDuck - DuckTales (OG/reboot), Disney shorts
8. Johnny Bravo - Johnny Bravo
9. Buzz Lightyear - Toy Story
10. Uncle Rukas - Boondocks
Other favs: Hank Hill, Dale Gribble, Carl (Aqua Teen), Skips, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, Mr. Boss, Grim, Ren (Ren and Stimpy), Granddad (Boondocks)

| @Toadfan64 Oh hell yeah Cartoon Network classics Jack, Courage, Johnny Bravo awesome picks. Is there a particular era of Bugs or do you just like him in everything, he kind of died to me after Space Jam. Hes not Bugs without Mel Blanc. Good to see Toy Story was apart of your childhood too, not something one should miss out on in my opinion. Shocking to say but I've never watched a single animation of Goofy or Scrooge McDuck, aside from A Goofy movie like 20+ years ago. Never got into Boondocks and gravity Falls was after my time. Like your other favorites, most people can relate to Squidward in some way, Grim was a lot fun, I can't believe you also watched some Ren and Stimpy as well show is kind of like a cartoon madhouse. And what is this Mr. Boss from? Not too familiar with the other characters. Anyways thank you for posting. |

| @AmityBlight Amity Blight, really like her design. This Sasha Waybright is giving me Metal Vibes, and I love Metal. Alright Static Shock! hes super under appreciated, awesome choice. Charmcaster, damn she has a good design too. Ben 10, after my time. Buttercup was my favorite Powerpuff girl. A lot Stan Pines on this thread, he must be a cool dude. Either that or most people on this thread just happen to be in the same era. Oh sweet this Jentry Chau looks like a badass fire sorceress. Saw Uncle Ruckus playing checkers in one episode and that's all I really know about him. Didn't have cable at the time for these honorable mentions, never had the chance to see them in their shows. Aside from Spongebob, I have to say this Demencia looks kind of unhinged/crazy seems to be a fun character. Thanks for the list. |

I didn't think much on it, and no particular order ofc, just some folks I like.

| @LoveYourSmile Really love the design of the first two, whoever they are. I take you like both of the Hazbin characters, finished the series and couldn't remember their names. Wish I was more familiar with the other characters, aside from Goofy. Been so long since I've seen Sing. I think that's the South Park Character that played Raining Blood to scare the hippies away or something like that. Thank you for the picture list. |

1. Black Cat Detective, the Chinese version of Tom and Jerry but with gun viiolence and death
2. The 3 characters, Racoon Dog + Bear + Cat, from the North Korean animated series, Clever Raccoon Dog
3. Dilbert and Dogbert in Dilbert: the Animated Series
4. The 2 alien leaders in Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri's expansion pack, Alien Crossfire (very philosophical about humanity's fate)
5. Alfred J. Kwak, a Dutch cartoon character
6. Cheburashka, the famous Soviet/Russian animated character

| @MalchikRepaid Alright some real obscure stuff, really love to see this. A more violent Chinese type of Tom & Jerry sounds really fun. I wonder if Clever Raccoon Dog was even localized in other regions. Dillbert had an animated series? I thought he was only in short comic strips. Didn't expect characters from a 90s strategy game a pleasant surprise never knew of its existence, those old games had worthwhile expansions. Alfred J. Kwak is giving me some semblance of the Moomin Series. First stop motion character I've seen on this thread, I have an admiration towards stop motion animation. Watched the Cheburashka song on YT, liked it a lot thanks for showing this character to me. Good list, the most unique so far thank you for sharing. |

Great question! I've never really thought about favorites before, but if I had to name some of them, I'd say:
- Mordecai (Regular Show).

| @Absurdo_N Second time I've seen Demancia on this thread, looks like one of those fun crazy people. Never got to know Ashoka only really watched the first six movies & the micro seriesc she didn't really show up in those. Wait there's eastern versions of Starscream? Interesting, recently got the 80s animated Transformers movie still need to watch it. Good old Casey liked him better than the turtles at first. I don't remember seeing Pamela Isley in the Batman animated series, she was there right? Had no Idea Constantine was from a DC comic, just know of the Keanu Reeves movie. Its too bad the plot killed Gaston, his character flaws were his downfall. Oh hell yeah you like Daffy Duck too, hes not crazy he just doesn't give a darn. It's been ages since watching Treasure Planet, kind of having trouble differentiating him between all of the other Long John Silvers. Nice list thank you for sharing. |

| I haven't thought about ranking them, but after a little more thought (not enough probably because I might modify it and most of it is fluid) (No limit franchise || Limit 1 per franchise) 1 1 Eric Cartman (South Park): Deceptive, manipulative, cunning when he wants to, hateful in return to receiving some negative shit happening to him is perfect for comedy 2 2 Coop (Megas XLR): Able to put his love for gaming into Megas, not afraid to replace initial functions of Megas or misuse, destructive in his pursuit of heroics, takes things personal if his day is ruined 3 3 Glenn Quagmire (Family Guy) : Funny pervert gags, great one-liners, and not the friend characters should be hanging around 4 4 Squidward Tentacles (Spongebob Squarepants) : Long life suffering of having shitty annoying neighbors and a shitty job makes his pessimism, realism, and outlook intense 5 5 Foghorn Leghorn (Looney Tunes) : Great analogies. Loves to mess with the dog and cause chaos. 6 - Stewie Griffin (Family Guy) : Quick witted. Creates some great scenes such as during his adventures. He would be higher if it was the Stewie of old because he had quite the use of vocabulary and while being genius at inventions still has limitations of his infant perspective of the world 7 - Daffy Duck (Looney Tunes) : Greedy, selfish, cowardly, and arrogant. The perfect mix for entertainment 8 - Butters Stotch (South Park) : Oblivious, innocent, easily influenced. Perfect foil to Cartman 9 - Randy Marsh (South Park) : Goes extreme into his activities while being an immature adult 10 6 Bender Rodriguez (Futurama) : Being drunk asshole is the norm. Devious and likes to cause chaos - 7 Snoopy (Peanuts) : Imaginative, cool, not limited to being only a dog as he does a vast number of things - 8 Rick Sanchez (Rick and Morty) : Relentless pursuit of scientific inventions and questionable purposes of it mixed with trouble, destruction, and mayhem - - Patrick Star (Spongebob Squarepants) : Lovable idiot and annoying neighbor - 9 Algernop Krieger (Archer) : Has a virtual waifu while being a drug addict while still playing his role as the major creator of all things espionage gadgets and equipment (with drawbacks) - - Pam Poovey (Archer) : Willing to tussle, laid back, and dishing out side comments that weren't asked of her but wewll timed - 10 Tick (The Tick) : A hero that eccentric, motivated, eager. Doesn't feel any pain and has a great slogan "spoon" HM: Zapp Brannigan (Futurama): A hero viewed by many, but only a small group of people understands that he's useless arrogant incompetent officer and that the small group has to bear the troubles he brings or the mental suffering of listening to him ramble. HM: Ice King (Adventure Time) : Antisocial and messed up mentally....quite the fellow who enjoys his conversations with penguins and his escapades with Finn and Jake. Weird creepiness dynamics with princesses |

| @Slayers363 That's fair about Boondocks. There is a lot of shouting involved from many characters. Yeah, I saw Mr. Fantastic Fox, and that movie made it to my top favorites. I also ended up watching more films made by Wes Anderson. I hear he has somewhat different personalities between comics and films. Did not know about the games. |

| In no particular order: Ed - Ed, Edd n Eddy Bender - Futurama Jake the Dog - Adventure Time Zim - Invader Zim Grim & Billy - The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy Master Shake - Aqua Teen Hunger Force Kenny (when they actually give him something to do) - South Park Starfire - Teen Titans Uncle - Jachie Chan Adventures Well, since I doubled up on Billy & Mandy characters, I guess that's 10. If I hadn't done that, the last would probably be Rick Sanchez (Rick & Morty) or Beavis (Beavis and Butt-Head). Or maybe Hans Moleman from The Simpsons. I feel bad because no one's gay for Moleman. |

Ash and Pikachu (heck, I'm Team Squirtle, and I consider Pokemon as a cartoon, so it counts.) 11. Mr. Bean - just for safety measures if 9-10 isn't applicable. 12-13. | @OiantakuYT That's a lot of Spiderman, how do you keep track of all of them? Going to need an Avatar Character counter on this thread, they seem to stand at the peak. That Xavier show looks wild. Captain Hero seems to be similar to Captain Quark from Ratchet and Clank, might have to try this series hes from. That shaky old turtle was awesome. Alright Wallace glad to see more stop motion characters, you ever watch the Curse of the Wererabbit? A person who gets it, the Iron Giant is the best robot out there. I watched Fairly Odd Parents and I do not remember seeing this guy, looks like another Hero parody type. Thanks for sharing your list. |

| @anen0me Second person so far to have an Arcane character, such a good show. Hades carries the comedy in that movie so hard. Kronk was so loyal to Yzma until she insulted his cooking, love comedy duo's. Guess the Grim Adventures get their own list. Coach Mcguirk looks like those old flash animations, good memories. I remember the Scotsman, thinking of him makes me want to watch all of Samurai Jack. Ed, Edd, & Eddy getting its own list too. Wasn't expecting the sentient milkshake, nice pick. Never got into Venture Bro's, but I like Dr. Mrs. The Monarch's outfit. Wouldn't be Futurama without bender, you keep up with the recent episodes? Like the list thanks for posting. |
