Ye, this concert performance had an awkward start. Tina struggled but was able to pick up the rythym. Even Lilisa had some problems but the group was able to collect themselves.

Not going to lie, this episode gives off season finale vibes. Seeing the group play together with passion and excitement is great. Lilisa seems to truly enjoy music again. An entire episode of a band performance, absolute cinema!

Weekly dose of my rock lesbians! Oh my god what an episode, the best yet and there’s been so many I’ve loved. I’m so proud of the girls, especially Tina. I love that they didn’t give her some magical amazing first performance. She struggled and lost her way, but the important thing is she didn’t give up! It’s ok to make mistakes, just don’t compound them by quitting!!

This entire episode was incredible. Love how everyone thought Otoha was gonna come out on stage naked, she just came out HALF naked with that legendary punk rock outfit on 😂 the look of surprise on those guys’ faces who thought she was a pure idol like girl lol.

The way they visualised Tina being lost in the performance and not knowing what to do was sooo good. Sometimes you get so lost that it really does feel like you’re in a forest falling deeper and deeper. Oto came in so clutch with her drums to help Tina find her way! It seems kinda silly, but your chest being so big that it throws off your perception of the keyboard below you is really valid too. You’d need to adjust your standing angle quite a bit!

Second half of the performance was just Lilisa showing people she is THAT girl. There’s a reason Otoha chose her over Tamaki and why she’s on guitar lol. She’d been so focused on helping Tina, that she couldn’t give her all. It’s dope that Otoha’s drums basically saved she and Tina’s performances!! The 3D animation was sooo good. It’s crazy how far we’ve come with this stuff. I like how it had the feeling of the girls being consumed in ecstasy! Continuing with those themes of sexual and emotional liberation.

One thing that really irked me tho was the audience complaining about their being no lyrics. Mass of the fermenting dregs, my dead girlfriend, for Tracy Hyde and many other shoegaze bands have tons of music with no lyrics. You don’t need words to convey the emotions lol. Odd for a rock fan to complain about that.

Amazing episode!!

Otoha's outfit was interesting and the scenes how the characters were feeling where nice as well.
The dominatrix theme is funny.

Knew it. Otoha wore a really bold dress to make mouths water. It was funny how Tina struggled with her breasts being in full view. It was obvious, but she still got overwhelmed by it all. If not for Otoha, she would have been done for. Lol, those breast bounces of Tina's.

Didn't expect Lilisa to lose her ground and get overwhelmed too, like an amateur, and prove Tamaki's point for calling her a noob.

I don't really think that just throwing in wild music played by each instrument can actually make it sound good. The performance, to me, was below average. It's obvious, so I don't think I need to explain why. They ruined the majority of the performance with unsynced music, and it was all VFX to make it look like they're playing some out-of-this-world music, along with constant camera changes that made it dizzying for me.

What happens next is rather predictable, as they're the main cast and it's sure to play out in their favor in the end.

peak as fuck...that was an adrenaline overdrive and boy oh boy as a musician, I can definitely relate to what was going on on stage. That one missed timed entry can be borderline impossible to recover from. But a drummer can bring it all back together.

Tina still best girl.
Don't believe the hype.

The day finally came when all eyes were on their performance. After Bitter Ganache's performance which was praised by the audience, now it was their band's turn to perform.

At first their performance was a bit messy with differences in their playing, and they had experienced difficulties and pressure from the audience, but in the end Lilisa and Otoha managed to change the rhythm of their playing. I was glad the performance ended with a happy audience, I was looking forward to what would happen after this performance was over.

Simply a fantastic and exhilarating episode
The girls really put on an incredible performance even though they were abit of a mess at the start. Massive respect to Tina for not giving up and getting back into the rhythm.

As much as I love this new series, I personally felt this particular episode was a massive dud.

It's painfully slow and dragged out, from the whole mystery about Otoha's clothes to Tina's underwhelming performance and Lilisa's personal issues. Nothing in their performance (even on their "burst mode") felt inspiring or electrifying, specially compared to Otoha & Lilisa's first encounter in the early episodes. I'm okay with the lower production value 3D models, but the plain 2D art and animation felt quite underwhelming in this episode, they didn't help at all to boost up an already lackluster performance with no vocalist.

I'm probably too critical, because Bocchi The Rock & Girls Band Cry raised the bar quite a while ago for Band anime and specially Bocchi pulled out the last minute Hero performance in both episode 8 and episode 12 without feeling slow or plain boring while still depicting the tension and burden of being on stage.

I've been anticipating this episode so bad after that cliffhanger last episode and my god was it worth the wait!!! Otoha carrying the team this episode man! Tina gets stuck? Otoha is the one to help her out. Lilisa feels held back from all the things said against her? She riles her spirit back up.

Seeing them struggle at the start to absolutely shredding it was soooo satisfying. Even got Tamaki all smiling and shit too, seems like she finally feels something from Lilisa's guitar playing!!

Easily the best episode so far.

The first episode I did not enjoy a whole lot personally.
I do like music but having (almost) the entire episode being their performance I did feel a bit bored at times (probably because the interactions between the characters is what I enjoy the most in that show and there was almost none here).
I enjoyed the last few minutes some more however, when the focus was on Lilisa and Oto and when they basically played against/for each other, it was kind of fun and pretty cute.

Seriously, Tina? You missed your keyboarding start because of how big your rack is? As a man, I honestly don’t know what to think or say about something like that, other than maybe, sit down? Instead of standing up? Like, you’ve got a chair. Use it and sit like how Otoha is sitting. Dang.

That aside, I’m so glad about three things. First, Otoha never losing her trust in Lilisa. Second, Otoha guiding Tina using her drumming tempo. And last but not least, Lilisa actually shoving the audience’s, Bitter Ganache’s, and Tamaki’s words DOWN THEIR THROATS! VERY SATISFIED, SERIOUSLY.

They got off to a rocky start, but there's no doubt that Otoha was the MVP. Right from the start - dazzling the audience with a daring outfit - she helped Tina find her rhythm again. Tina struggled, but managed to overcome. Although she didn't stand out in the concert, she overcame one of the most difficult challenges musicians face: to keep going and get back in rhythm without stopping or giving up. Now she just has to practice more, but keeping in mind... her big boobs.

Lilisa also benefited from Otoha's influence. She was too focused on Tina or the public's perception: why she was the guitarist. But Otoha's intense presence brought her back to her passion, making Tamaki realize why Otoha had chosen Lilisa in the first place.

Lilisa and Otoha are at the center, facing each other as they try to outshine each other's music, while Tamaki seems willing to accept her role on bass, keeping them at bay. The music was incredible. What a fantastic dose of Yuri.

Knew Otoha was wearing that outfit lol. They struggled as expected and went through a series of cliche events all team sports type of series goes through but came together just at the right moment. The performance was wild and intense at the end there, just like last time. Also Tina missed the rythm at the begining as expected but for a totally unexpected reason, her melons, like damn girl. Those were dancing by the end though.

I predicted this outcome, the drummer at there first show together, is the star of the show, bringing everyone together, even the guitarist, struggling with playing with the new bass player, and also helping the new pianist.

As a musician, playing in a band where the drummer and guitarist are musical beasts / geniuses, playing the bass to hold down the song is really fun, especially when you can follow them down the journey they are taking you on.

😅 😎
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

In the their final chance, the girls got it together and put on a spectacular performance. It's hard for a vocalles play to be this captivating, but it was amazing after all. And now that the band did its first performance we also got the bdsm band dynamics:
Otoha and Lilisa fight whose gonna be on top, Shiro pulls both their straps, and Tina watches enthusiastically from the cuck chair.

I used to play the keyboard for a band. Tina felt way too real since the first episode she showed up, and the way she smiles when she caught up to the band is the reason why musicians love to play.

The Otoha fit was real hot man..
Wouldn't waste a time submitting👍

Was expecting she will pull out something but that was a nice welcome surprise :)

Tina boobs got in the way wut.
Kinda silly joke. Glad she came back to her rythem and didn't quit. But that part was kinda meh.

The last third when actual show began. Otoha saved Lilisa just like Absolute MVP, best girl. Never thought I would change her tone this much when she was initially with a two faced character. But now I am loving her.
Honestly Lilisa should have realised played for for herself from start but atleast she got there. Finally these two showed off Tamaki what they capable off.

Don't anyone dare to underestimate Lilisa..
How did Tina kept up with the those two rampaging idk.

Ah man, poor Tina LMAO of all the things that could've gone wrong in her first show, her GIGANTIC BADONKERS being the main cause would never be my first guess XD I'm just glad she managed to work around it and found herself playing with the other girls
And holy shit, what a performance in the last song. The first songs were really awkward, they managed to make even someone who doesn't know shit about music like me feel like something was off. But in the end, I was hyping the last song like I was in the previous performances

First really bad episode. You can't just make something that's purposefully a slog to get through even at 2x, then finally bring out the shark teeth and wind effects for the last couple of minutes and hope it'll be enough to turn things around. Apparently this show peaked with the community orchestra episode and everything after that is going to be filler.

Well I was a bit surprised they didn’t do what I thought they were gonna do with Tina’s boobs, being that she would play better when being unbound, but those massive rock & roll mammaries of hers still played a roll when she couldn’t see the keyboard, as well as when she found her groove and they started dancing on their own lol, if my face wasn’t already on the floor from the music, Tina definitely did it to me. Besides just her tits tho, the moment where she was struggling and wanted to stop playing before Otoha helped her back into the jam was really well done, she’s no master player out of nowhere but I loved seeing her having a good time and feeling the music, it’s just a shame they must’ve had her turned down or something on the last song because I couldn’t hear any keyboard at all.

And man it was nice to see Lilisa finally wow the crowd and Tamaki, that crowd honestly sucked ass and the pit looked stiff af really, like they wouldn’t even clap after a good performance, yeah maybe it wasn’t a blow your socks off performance but they still got up and played music for you people lol. But despite the crowd being lame, Lilisa reeled them back in along with the rest of the band for an explosive rocking jam, we got some more sexy visuals here too of course lol, I especially liked the cage fight which paired nicely with Tamaki’s love for the bass being touched on some more, so yeah it’s safe to say socks were blown off and faces were melted. I just wonder tho, is one final killer song enough to win them the band battle? Guess we shall see.

And lastly, I really appreciate them showing the entire set of music for the most part, a lot of music anime would just show the one song and skip the rest, so this really embodied the feeling of an actual concert, I’m a big fan of that.

I thought it was fresh to see instrumental band in anime but forgot that it means they need to add in effects and lots of internal monologues to make up for the lack of vocals.

Well this certainly makes it a whole lot less realistic than other recent band anime. It’s hard to take this seriously and sexual jokes only make it worse.

Looks like GBC and Bangdream (ofc) have really upped the stakes on how to properly present their performances without any bs going on.

I feel like the show could have been so much better if the band only consists of two main. The other two just felt like unnecessary addition to the band. The imagery used for Tina is great and the last bits is quite good for musical performance, but I still don't like the characters all that much. What a shame.

Damn! The girls ROCKED the hell out of it !!
❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
First, we got to talk about Otoha's costume..the girl killed it !! 🤩💯❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
When nothing started to go their way Otoha's passionate drumming saved Tina and Lilisa.
Tina trying so hard to keep up with those beasts in her band really deserves appreciation..💖💖
When Lilisa finally stopped worrying about what others think about her performance she just EXPLODED !! 😭❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥💯
Now SHIRO knows why Otoha chose Lilisa over her. Lilisa's guitar made Shiro realise the reason why she was obsessed with Bass once. Lilisa's performance pulls everyone towards her and makes them experience the same awakening as her.
The visuals for each of them were so amazing as well.
A 10/10 episode for me 🫰💯✨✨
