| I agree that the CGI fights in this are SLIGHTLY better than the CGI fights of other shows but other shows start off with those CGI fights instead of luring the audience in with good 2D fights but that isn't the only reason the plot, story, and characters are literally worse than Demon Slayer and that show already is infamous for weak plot, story, and characters. |
| Going by what people here are saying, it's probably got to do with mechs appearing in a show with the word "Ninja" in it. People are watching for ninjas, not robots. It's like if you wanted a chocolate chip cookie but you find out it has raisins on the inside. |

| Lmao its called Ninja Kamui not Mech Kamui, Honestly when someone defends some bullshit like this is also beyond hilarious. They burned their budget in hand to hand animation in first few episode and then shifted to CGI mechs suits which turned off fans and I won't blame them as it was not that was promised, choreo and everything is fine but overall its just ok and not to mention story is not something of a masterpiece. Most people dropped its rating because everything in this show is just ok (characters/plot) the one thing that was making it hype was the hand to hand 2D fight scenes which is also gone now. |

| the score was dropping even before the cgi mechs, that just sealed the deal. I don't even dislike mechs or cgi, but going to that from 10/10 hand to hand 2d action, is definitely a pretty big drop. and honestly I thought the writing was pretty subpar from the start, the action was the thing keeping me invested. |

| The CG played a very small part for me dropping my score but the majority of it was due to the story becoming so boring and predictable past episode 2. With the flashy first episode and the story going to shit afterwards, it feels similar to God of High School, but the visuals weren't even able to maintain their quality like in GoHS so it has nothing going for it. Wouldn't even be surprised if this drops into the 3000s or worse when it ends. |

| I wonder how different the audience response would be if the Gusoku gear fights were done in 2D as well. Like, the exact same type of fighting from the early episodes, just inside the mech suits. Without CGI I feel like the general response would be a little better since anime fans have the most raging hate boner for CGI. |
