| Recently I've been back on the anime grind. Wanted to clean up a few re-watches and get caught up on a couple series before the spring season comes next week. Usually I'm good for 1 - 3 anime a month. I've been on the site since 2021 but just got involved in the forums these last 3 months. Can say I have been spending more time browsing the forums than I have been watching. I also just recently picked up reading manga a little bit. I'm still an ultra scrub when it comes to manga but at least I can say I have started reading a couple things. |

| The "anime itch" comes and goes. It loosely follows the seasonal cycle, so I'm typically watching more anime (seasonal or otherwise) in the first month of a season. Then I slowly fall away and spend more time on other hobbies. A "rainy season" for me is 5-6 episodes a day every day. I've been watching daily since January, but in the past week or two I've been losing steam. I'm pretty excited about Spring 2024, but I may need a short break and get back in a few weeks into the season. |

| Almost daily, depending on my shifts. I tend to watch less after an early shift. I also tend to switch between anime and gaming, prefering to do one over the other for months. Currently I'm in an anime period. I also don't have tv channels anymore so the vast majority of stuff I watch is anime. |

| I have my low points, which come and go every few days. Those times, I'll just watch the essentials, so Urusei Yatsura's remake whenever a new episode airs, maybe an episode or two of either Kingyo Chuiho, Yume no Crayon Oukoku or Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo. But when I'm in the mood, I'll try to scarf down as much as possible in the time that I'm in the mood, and right now I'm taking advantage of that mood to finish Sakigake Otokojuku (Goofy-ass overly manly manime). But yeah, sometimes my eyes and brain just aren't working fast enough to keep up with subtitles (I dunno, maybe the house's gas line started leaking the sleepy stuff again lol), in which I'll just put off everything until I'm out of that "zero anime funk", which often happens after just a day. |

| Only about twice a week or so, surprisingly. There are times when I'm just too mentally or physically exhausted from work to want to watch anime, but most of the time, I would just rather be doing something else than watch anime. I think I can no longer binge anime like I used to, and more often than not, I have to go out of my way and kind of force myself to watch more anime. |

| I wait for an anime diffusion to be complete before watching, I don't like waiting one week for an episode when I like a show. But often when the show is done and avaible to watch it's hard to do it, I lack motivation more and more because a lot of anime feels the same in the end. That don't make them bad per say, just harder to try and watch an anime. So I try at least an anime per week with the three episodes rule a some peak in the later episodes to be sure the rule work with it (not some plot twist after episode 4 or something like Higurashi). But when I like the anime I just watch it whole in some hours. |
