Morning snack, breakfast, mid-day snack, "lunch" (at like 3:00), pre-dinner snack, dinner, post-dinner snack, and midnight snack.

That's 8. Of course, only 2 of those can be called meals, the rest are just me randomly munching on things.

Around the count of 6. Early morning awakening and a burger (talk about good start!). Midday - dinner - lots of meat on the bones, potatoes or fried fries + some salad. Loads of snacks thereafter. Until midnight - chips, sweets, cakes, etc.
But hey! At least my BMI is under 40!

I usually just forget to eat, so I normally only have dinner.

I dunno why, I just don't really get hungry.

I don't exactely count them, but I can seriously say I eat more times than most people.

I have the tendency to only eat whatever I like, and eat loads of it. I could live on youghurt, mandarines and lots of chips and croquets. It all balances out in the end, I guess.

2 to 3 times, since I'm lazy when it comes to making food. When I'm really busy/pressed I tend to forget and end up with one meal that day. Of course I'm not counting the usual snacks, like some sort of junk food (eg. chips).

Usually two or three times a day.

Lunch, dinner, and late-dinner. I'm never awake early enough for breakfast, nor do I particularly like breakfast items (minus McDonald's hash browns).

I usually do the same thing :) Tho I don't eat after 6-7-8 PM (stomach issues T_T )
@DWAWYO -- dude, anything over BMI 30 is OBESE :| Tho the real bad thing is that you're eating CRAP
cakes and chips might taste good but they have very little to none nutrition value and you will one day regret stuffing yourself with crap. ^^ Eating them once in a while is fine tho having them on a daily basis is bad

Depends on my day =/

If it's a working day, eating is sporadic (in other words: whenever I can! I try to take my breaks but it doesn't always work out). I will often try to eat a little something for breakfast but I hate eating in the early morning, so more often than not, it's just a coffee. If I take my morning break, I'll eat a snack. 99% of the time, I'll manage a good lunch. Sometimes, I'll manage a decent dinner, either during my dinner break or when I get home.

On days off, I usually get my 3 regular meals, plus a snack in-between.

7am Breakfast ( 3 or 4 slices of bread with something on it thats not full of sugar, milk or water, or juice)

Lunch 12.00 ( 4 slices of bread with something on them, small salad, milk)

Dinner 18.00 / 6pm ( All sorts of stuff I'm a pretty decent cook so I usually pick a random receipt from the net and make it. Usually contains at least some form of vegetables and meat)

And sometimes a snack in the evening when watching a movie / anime or what not.

Since I started eating breakfast on a daily bases I've lost about 5 kilo's of weight and went from 83 to 78kg. And i feel much better :P

Can't be bothered to read through all the posts.

Isn't it supposed to be healthier to eat quite a few small meals/snacks throughout the day rather than have 2-3 meals with one being extremely large???

I have a small breakfast, light lunch, afternoon snacks and a moderate dinner. I eat around the correct calories but probably should balance my meals more.

Depends on my mood. If I'm marathoning an anime, about once in the whole day. If I'm doing this and that, then arouud 8-10 times, although all small snacks, like bananas and apples, and a bite size brownie type deal.

Yep, eating 5-6 small meals (100-400 kcal each) is healthier than eating 2 or 3 big ones (500-1000 each). It just keeps your metabolism high and kicking :] since the beginning of the year I made some major changes about my eating habits and I can proudly say it's true ^^ I even lost some weight since I began eating smaller meals more often through the day (tho I was slim to begin with so nothing amusing regards my looks happened xD)
