Haikyuu and usagi drop are my pick.

They are also worked as a supporting company in many big projects.

They are a consistent studio.

Also made some great anime like Ghost in the shell, etc.

But it's so good, I've never known anybody like you
But it's so good, I've never dreamed of nobody like you
And I've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetime
And I'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine

My first impression of the studio was that their production was god-tier. I still see them in this light.

Kill bill it's their I encounter them the first time. The animation of the past of Oren Ishii it's still one of the best piece of work I have in a decade of watching anime.

Good production quality, nice color palette, a lot of action-centered stuff.

My favs are Psycho Pass and Guilty Crown.

Good studio, did a ton of classic stuff like Ghost in the Shell which should say enough. If you're a sci-fi buff they're one of the best. Outside of sci-fi they generally make good shows though they really took on this Kuroko no Basket/Haikyuu aesthetic in the last several years to bait in fujos - like, guys, Gineiyuuden shouldn't be looking like a KnB doujin.

One of my top 3 studios and I agree that it's the most consistent.

My second favorite studio of all times. Of course they have highs and lows with some bafflingly weird projects here and there, but their peaks are quintessential for the industry.

They are Wit Studio's parent company, and in some ways they are better than Wit.

Want a good sports anime? Production IG is your god. Haikyuu, KnB, Ballroom e Youkoso (not worth your time), Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru (worth your time), Ao Ashi. That's not including their non-sports anime, more times than not when I'm watching Production IG it's sports related lol.

They made a stellar adaptation of Vinland Saga, so I cant complain.

Also their work on Attack on Titan was amazing, truly elevated the work, especially the early manga chapters that were visually kinda meh...though I would probably credit WIT studio for a lot of that in both examples.

The "Ghost in the Shell" studio for me.

The movies were a while ago, but the studio still seems to be chugging along.

Also, a good sports anime studio for me. The few sports anime I've seen were from these guys (Haikyuu, Run with the Wind), and they were excellent.

Has it's ups and downs but overall a great studio, most of what i've seen the animation is not perfect but still looks good, it also has some absolute gems in animation... and some animation turds too šŸ˜…

Favs (gems): Dead Leaves, Haikyuu, Psycho-Pass

Other favs: Run With The Wind

Other gems that didn't click with me: FLCL (collab with Gainax), Kimi ni Todoke

Middle Ground: B: The Beginning, Heavenly Delusions

Example of a turd: Panzer Dragoon... i call it a turd cuz i find it funny, but trust me i've seen far worse xD
What debating with DigiCat is like according to APolygons2
That's why I thought a discussion would be pointless. It doesn't feel like a debate. It feels like I'm playing chess and somehow lose to an uno reverse card after loosing all my monopoly money lol

Out of all the anime studios still in business, Production IG is my personal favorite.

When it comes to sci-fi anime, they are arguably the best in the business. So much so that a family member of mine said that
"Production IG doesn't make anime, but prestige television in animated format."

Alas, in an age where it feels like that the only studios your typical anime viewer cares about are Mappa and Ufotable, Production IG might as well be some relatively obscure company like Studio M2.
