| I don't see this as a cash grab as much as it is them stalling to wait until all the relevant staff are available again. I have the feeling that Aniplex/Cloverworks are dead set on using the same key staff so that the essence of this anime remains. Nonetheless, it means that Aniplex values this series so much, that they are willing to make such compilation movies, just to keep it relevant and hot by the time S2 gets produced. Bocchi also was an unexpected hit and they probably didn't schedule for a second season. It's all more promising to see this commitment. |

The first season adapted up to chapter 22 of the manga, and there are already 70 chapters in volume format, which means there is more than enough source material for not only season 2 but also for season 3. Please stop making claims about things you don't know anything about. |

Im pretty much saying considering nothing else has been release in video format, that ppl discussing if this will/wont be a recap at all is pointless.
Its like saying if the first 2 MiA movies were to be recaps at the time of their release.
Plus this was first stated to be a " compilation movie" so that means that it'll just be retelling whats already been discussed so far.
