| Absolutely hated having to stare at Yamatos furry form for the first 95% of this episode. The White Serpent and the Jet culverin were immaculate, the smearing of Luffy's arm looked amazing. The lightnings were immaculate. But seriously that super saiyan soundeffect as Yamato charges in towards Kaido, god that was so goddamn awful, and why is it that when Momonosuke flies, it has to sound like a plane? And even more DBZ SFX to Luffys Snakeman. AND YOU SEE WHY I COMPLAIN ABOUT YAMATOS FURRY FORM?! Look at how goddamn beautiful, gorgeous and attractive Yamato looks in her base form fighting when Yamato used the Serpent attack with Luffy against Kaido !! Goddamn!! If this was kept up throughout the whole fight. It would've put more meaning and emotion to everything, unlike the furry form, can't take her serious, while ruining her character and expressions. Obviously I didn't enjoy the first 95% of the episode, because of that abhorrent form that Yamato has.  Seriously Toei, STOP WITH THESE DBZ SFX!! CHANGE AND USE BETTER ONES ALREADY !! |

When Luffy's arm was bouncing around in his gear 4th snakeman, the SFX had to be changed, like why? And what is this weird face like this, as its zoomed in before he turns gear 4th snakeman?! Seriously, what kind of dragon sounds like a plane?... Why can't, Toei use Kaido's dragon flying SFX instead or other alternatives for it, just for the sake of it being different?  |

| Not all Beast Pirates are bad even tho many of them enjoy being cruel to starving folks and wasting food. Poor guy. Epic sound design by Toei. Man I can already see the memes. When Momo popped out behind Yamato in the distance it looked hilarious to boot. The sakuga for this week has been leaked. Those who watched it beforehand were able to skip the episode, I presume. Dope way to finish the episode, but I don't feel the same hype as last week. The right OST is just as if not more important to me than animation. Not to mention that the Thunder Bagua clash had more to offer thematically along with some imagery. How it followed up the flashback made it have greater emotional impact. And we were really close to adapting an entire chapter. |

| that was the best animated scene of one piece this year! that WAS INSANE!!!!!!! Finally Luffy got to the roof once again, but now with Adult Momo, and they both are about to team with Yamato to beat the hell out of Kaido! I just can't wait for the next episode!!!!! |

| Wow, that last scene was possibly the coolest looking action sequence I have ever seen in this show. They are killing me with this greatness right now! Incredible reintroduction for Luffy on Roof Piece! Everything looked pretty great this week, even the CG Momo didn't look so bad |

| They spent half of the episode on more boring Yamato scenes, and the other half on Luffy riding Momonosuke around, with the final minute or two on Luffy in Snake-Man form for the cliffhanger. What's with every episode in the past year basically being 20 minutes of trash and only 1 minute of hype at the end? The pattern is getting really stale. |
| Hopefully this marks the end of OP complaining every episode about hybrid Yamato. As with the previous episode, the most notable part and probably the only part of the episode that everyone will be talking about was that last minute or so. Idk what Toei is feeding these animators but man that sakuga was ELITE and that scene was hype. Also I'm convinced MAL people complain for the sake of complaining, aint no way I'm seeing yall complain that the studio that has been producing the DBZ anime for 30+ years is using DBZ sound effects in One Piece. Which, this isn't even the first One Piece episode to do so lol. And as I've said countless times, Toei literally reassigned a bunch of Dragon Ball staff onto One Piece back when the Wano arc started in 2019 which is why you're seeing so much DBZ aura in the fights. |

Its not really that, the manga it self is kind of structured in this way for the majority of this arc, why else do you think this story arc is over 150 chapters long. There is MANY and I say MANY moments where oda could have trimmed the fat from certain scenes and so much screen time being wasted and used for fodder enemies and inconsequental moments during this raid. That is why I say one piece fans are going to be blown away by the difference in pacing after wano. But for now, enjoy the final upcoming moments of the story. Things are about to get quite intense. |

| Yamato's flashback showed once again the cruel reality she had to face as a child, in trying to survive day after day, because of her love for Oden. Of course they had to bring up the scene between her and Ace once again. As if my heart didn't get ripped out often enough. Kinda surprising seeing someone so kindhearted among the Beast Pirates. And shortly after that poor guy gets executed for bringing a starving child food. Bravo Kaido. You will certainly never become father of the year for your knowledge in educating children lol. It's still a fierce battle between Yamato and Kaido, where Yamato was able to land some nice hits. Obviously they won't have any effect on a tank like Kaido, but nonetheless good effort. As expected Momo wasn't able to overcome his fear from heights and so Luffy had to force him, which then resulted in a "blindfolded" crash maneuver through Onigashima. Everyone's reaction was priceless :D Such a beautiful ending with Yamato's White Serpent, Luffy's immediate transformation into Gear Fourth Snakeman and Jet Culverin as followup to send Kaido flying. I know, they once again used lots a very familiar sounds from DBZ, but the animation was superb. So ultimately I really enjoyed the whole spectacle. |

| Slow first half with a good payoff at the end. I didn't think we were going to get to that part in this episode. Idk what to make of the animation at the end there. The jet culverin definitely looked better in WCI IMO. |

It really ruins the expression, details and way much more of the character so much, and it's easily forgettable of what shes like. Kaido on the other hand still feels like Kaido. I can guarantee you that, Yamato's base form is way more popular, marketable and profitable, than so called "hybrid" form (half human and half whichever animal/creature). It's what I only want to see. And not have her deformed her body to look completely different. Like having a snout.... urgh.......... and a change of hair.... I would've much preferred her to have either a logia fruit, or a mythical type that's a composite form like Marcos. But no devil fruit can work too. |

For WCI culverin, Only some culverin were good, but others weren't, the first attack that Luffy did with his culverin towards Katakuri if I recalled, did had smearing to it, similar to what we saw in this episode. |
